There's nothing better than HOMEMADE Vanilla Extract. These days with the rising cost of store bought Vanilla Extact, it made perfect sense for me to start making my own HOMEMADE Vanilla Extract. I made two batches of Vanilla Extract and here's the recipe for both.
Captain Morgan Spiced Rum Vanilla Extract
1. One Fifth of Captain Morgan Spiced Rum ~ Madagascar Vanilla Flavored
2. Madagascar Vanilla Beans, package of 10 Vanilla Beans
3. ONE tablespoon Golden Raisins
4. ONE tablespoon Ocean Spray "Craisins"
Vodka Vanilla Extract
1. ONE Fifth of Vodka (of your choice)
2. Madagascar Vanilla Beans, package of 10 Vanilla Beans
Both recipes are super delish and so easy to make. The Captain Morgan Spice Rum Vanilla Extract is by far my absolute favorite! The Holidays are right around the corner. I will be gifting a few jars of my Vanilla Extract for Christmas presents this year. I know my Homemade Vanilla Extract will be enjoyed by ALL who will receive a "Special Gift" from Me and Sophie!
