Yeah, it happens. Some hoof trimmers show that, some don't. I prefer the ones who don't.

Milk 😊 and it is expensive but cows who are as comfortable as possible will produce the most. So you could say treating them like queens pays back 😉

That thinking outside of the bix but It would very likely work it's way in like a wedge just like debris. Even though this looked a bit like it might be a hole it will be all even in no time and not be a problem for her at all 😊 I'll bring her back in for a follow-up to show you guys how she comes along.

I was thinking the glue they use to put the blocks on. But I see Aaron's point. Just like using a good wood glue to hole 2 pieces of wood together. If the joint breaks it won't be the glue that separates, but the next layer of wood, or in this case hoof that would separate. Causing the same problem again. Well this is what brainstorming together, throwing ideas out and seeing what will work and what won't work, and why. 🙂 Ed from Chicago 🙂

Regular shedding is a combination of wear and the outer horn drying and flaking off in miniscule layers, similar to your shoe wearing down. This is more like the sole of your shoe coming loose from the upper. You could also compare this to temporary hair loss from the fever. Similar concept since hair and horn are both keratin.

Well all I can say is as an international instructor that pioneered the Balance Method is I've probably cut open more feet than anyone in the world and I can guarantee you that the sole thickness is even front to back and left to right on each claw..

Is there a better way to demonstrate in the video which claw is bearing the weight, and which claw needs height taken down and which claw can be left alone. Looking at the clause from above Isn't very illustrative.
