I’d love to come out and see ur collection one day…. That red CL has a super city body on it…. They make really good bodies out here in western PA… def worst trucks running around with stickers on them 😂 take care brother
You sure must be blessed by the Mack Fairy to be able to find all those E9 s. I know new frames are outrageous these days, but I would just have a single 3/8 made and really have a fine truck. Why do you get all the haters? Its not like the cash is coming out of their pocket or anything. All the enthusiasts I am around really like your channel. We did a couple of those trunnion jobs in years past and arms and back ached for days. Bill
I drove a 92 Superliner with the Williams air throttle and loved it. Especially when a mechanic at Reading Mack turned up the air pressure and in turn gave me almost 200 more horses on the ground and 300 more pounds of torque just by increasing the air pressure. It went from 490 to 690 at the wheels and increased the torque to just over 2400 lbs. and my fuel mileage increased by over 1.5 mpg and with all that power my pyrometer temp never went higher than 700 degrees on the steepest grade hauling 80,000 or more lbs. And it only had a very light smoke out of the pipes when pulling. But it did roll some coal when starting out
It’s an air assisted throttle has nothing to do with pump settings. Probably wasn’t getting full throttle or something. But turning up the air pressure ain’t gonna make it run any better
Sounds like a fairy tale , repairing the throttle has nothing to do with changing the fuel calibration on injection pump.Diesel mechanic for 42 years, you must be smoking Weed
