I can see how this is very efficient for workflow and would save hours. Reaper does offer this natively, as well as just generally being very swift, efficient, and light on its feet
An excellent tool for those who don't already have access to this kind of feature. Reaper can do this for not just multiple mixes but trackouts, stems, and also across multiple sessions / different songs etc. If you're working on an album you could set it away as you go to bed and wake up to have everything you need ready for sending, archiving etc.
So pleased that you have adopted this tech because I've seen videos with Scheps extoling it's virtues on another channel and posted links to those here ages ago as it seemed it would be a winner for you but I guess RU-vid gobbled up the posts as I can't find them any more on this channel.
What if you use a shared FX bus for both vocals and instruments? If you mute drums the snare would still be sent to the plate (for example) in an acapella print.
Crazy how cubase has had these settings including multiple passes and insert track after bounce and all that jazz. I’m not saying it’s a perfect daw but seen as a complete feature package it’s beginning to be damn close to 😅 I can do all stems, reference mixes, voz up and down, a capella, instrumental all in one pass 😊
In terms of features, let's be honest, Cubase > Pro Tools. Only thing I prefer in PT is the editing and automation, I find that a little more accessible.
@@WeissAdviceCouldn’t agree more. I’m a PT certified user and I use Cubase since the dinosaurs were forced to mix underground because of the asteroid. 😂 And the only things I prefer in PT are automations, editing and clip gain. Can’t wait for that in Cubase as well. 🙏🏻
