I like how today was about testing regular decks vs Arishem to get a power balance idea. I'm not big brained enough for bounce but I have been running your Phastos Negative deck with great success. While Arishem is fun, it does feel like you're reacting all the time because there's no real plan going in since it's random cards every game. With a 12 card deck you have a game plan which can be an advantage against Ari most of the time. Especially if you know they've stacked their deck with tech cards.
See Jeff, this is why you're my fav Marvel Snap CC. Your off-meta skills and play style is so inspiring. I was intimidated to play this deck because of the skill cap I'm not used to but I studied your gameplay thoroughly and I'm happy to report I've been taking cubes off of so many people who underestimate the power of bounce. Thank you for your content
My dog is used to me watching your streams during the day so I’m rewatching during the fireworks so she has a familiar noise, thank you for your contribution to canine mental health.
I once made a joke how retreating is a 100% loss, but staying is only a 99% chance of losing, so it's just simple math that staying is correct. These days I think people like that first opponent truly believe this...
RE Darkhawk, I think of it like a tech card. A card that gives you an advantage in 70% of the games you draw it is worth putting in your deck, even at 5 cost. Kinda comparable to Legion, now that I think about it. Of course, that'll change once Arishem's play-rate becomes more reasonable (and is probably questionable in Conquest even now), and actually playing it out against a Limbo deck is foolish.
I built this and then never played it. Got Arishem off a 1 key gamble and it's all I've played for two days now. This makes me want to jump back in, relive the old bounce glory days
Arishem almost never (?) plays killmonger... They could generate it, but in all honesty it's nice to be able to play one drops against them and feel fine
Thank you so much for your knowledge and showing how you play bounce decks effectively. As someone without Sasquatch or Sage, is one more preferable over the other in bounce? Or are they practically interchangeable?
