$109 is the cheapest I’ve seen Disco 11! That’s really interesting on that Bowman small batch “single barrel”. Never seen it labeled like that, but excellent find for the price. Heck of a haul and great video! Cheers! 🥃

Maryland is the little secret. Everybody thinks of Tennessee in Kentucky, but to be quite honest with you Maryland is the best place to source allocated bourbon for a decent price.

New member to the Bourbon community at 58 years old! Have spent over $800 since February 4 just getting all the basic favorites (100-120 proof only - store picks preferred). Favorite two so far are Knob Creek 9 year 120 proof store pick and Heaven Hill bottled in bond. I see Heaven Hill going up big time in price, plus getting a little harder to find. Well, Disco Series 11 is awesome. Best one I’ve had since 4. I know you are not a Penelope guy (neither am I) but try to get the new Penelope 9 year Private Select. It is insanely good for $59.99-$69.99. Great channel!!

@Bourbon_Hunter Timing is everything ! I checked the website, and they update their inventory. Very well priced on a lot of bottles. I travel a lot and I hit a lot of stores in MD that basically have secondary prices on anything not commonly stocked. Very frustrating.

Get out beyond the 'burbs and you will find more good whiskey (whisky'). Great craft scene in Frederick. Maryland, with all its faults is still the land of the 'fiddle and flask'. And Maryland Rye is a thing again.

What is the perception of sazerac in other states? In Louisiana it often gets marketed right next to the fireball in abundance. So it always had a cheap impression to me.

Hmmm what state are you in? If you are into high proof stuff try and locate a Barrell Brand Single Barrel Store Pick. Batch 35 by Barrell is outstanding too! James E. Pepper is another outstanding bottle for $70! Looking for something less octane. I’d go with Knob Creek 12. If you can’t find that try and find a Ben Holiday Soft Red Wheat. If you can’t find thatttttttt… go into your local bourbon shop and ask the manager or employee about their barrel picks and grab one of those. Support a local store!
