Solid day mission bro! Life's pretty brutal at times, passings certainly remind you that life is precious! I meant Dan a few years back at South Temple, good fella to have a yarn with. It's awesome to see he's got good mates like you around him during these times!
@@MountainMan_NZ 100% bro! Yeah, he's probably one the most skillful and knowledgeable hunters I've seen on TV and talked to. You can tell he puts a lot of thought into hunting, very much like yourself. Shame he wasn't able to continue with the TV Show!
Great property to have access to there bro, fun day. Try mount your gopro on your shoulder on the backpack strap, that's where i have mine, gets a better view when taking a shot and is very steady. I used to put mine on my cap but i think having it on your head allows for the deer to see your movement even more. The old session gopros and the mini are the go set to linear. Anyway good vid brother and great day out. 👍
G’day Jamie,I hope that all is well.Condolences to your mate.A nice hunt in some lovely country and you were fortunate enough to walk out with a mixed grille.Cheers, Rob.
Hi Jamie, hope all is doing well and awesome job on supporting your mates/family. Just wondering if you have any experience transporting trophies from NZ to Aus? A few mates and myself have been lucky enough to score a Haast roar block in the upcoming roar and we've all been doing a little research on the logistics of everything. In case we manage to get a head, we thought we should probably research the laws and regs. We have found the permits and that, but the process or best way to bring them over isn't as obvious. We're all pretty happy with just a euro mount style to make it easier. Would love to know if you have any ideas? Cheers, Jacob
Hey Jacob, will you be travelling through queenstown? Suggest contacting the local taxidermist who will be able to look after all that for you. There's forms and declarations to fill in to verify its not a native species and it will need to be cleaned and treated properly so quarantine doesn't reject it lol Best contact Is David Jacobs owner of The Taxidermist in queenstown. He's a legend. Or high country taxidermist in Christchurch
Cheers!! Yes we will be driving through on the way there and flying home out of Queenstown. Last thing we want is to lose a head a head at customs @@MountainMan_NZ 😆 We'll look into these, Cheers
Not a bad effort Jamie a nice young goat and a good pig ,to bad about losing your arrows though mate and missing the deer but there's always another day .
