I'm not a stick shooter but I am an elk hunter. I will honestly say I've been on many more hunts than I have harvested elk. It's wonderful to fill the freezer but the hunt is the primary thing for me. I guess it's a primal thing where I am at my most basic with nature. Good luck on future hunts and don't sky line yourself.

Dang brother Somewhere I missed the name change and hadn’t been noticing the new content. I clicked on this video because I been watching a ton of Mule deer videos since I went to Colorado on my first ever hunt to learn a little more lol.. After the video started I knew I recognized these voices 🤣 Anyways congrats on the buck and I know that was tuff watching them elk walk off in that unit lol.. I think I’m a believer in Bigfoot now too 😳 I really enjoyed this video y’all, from the highs to lows, from Bigfoot to the mountain smoothies lol.. Hunting is way more than just hunting and harvesting something for me. It’s all about the preparations before the hunt, it’s all the hard work, joy, pain and tears during the hunt and the knowledge learned, memories made and the adventure along the way. I learned so much about myself over the last year, like you both do every time you hunt together! It’s really awesome seeing you guys doing this thing together, keep up the amazing job and I can’t wait to catch up on what I been missing!

Shot many bulls with a rifle. Bow hunted and only came close twice and missed both times. Not easy and to see all your hard work I’m proud of your dedication. Tough wife. Good video! I ate tag soup more than once!

The commentary on having a positive attitude is super important. Backcountry hunting is rough and uncomfortable much of the time. Your hunting partner will make or break any hunt. Great video! I subscribed and will be following this epic journey! I've hunted 14 states thus far and I'm eager to see the hunts from the states I've not yet roamed with my bow.

Bowhunting and calling in a bull for an ethical shot is hard enough, I couldn't imagine doing it while trying to film it. Colorado isnt what it was in the 1990's. Nonresidents tags are not worth the price , other states have better elk hunting. Moose are now in my old hunting areas and the elk numbers were way down in SW Colorado. Great job at staying at it. Wish I was your age again. Try brushing a tree when close, I sometimes shock bugled a bull up close and they get pissed and come to drive you away. Dumbest thing they did was releasing wolves in CO.
