Bow Hunting Plains Deer | Buck Truck 

Lost it when u showed half of KC's shades were gone😅. Me and a few old huntin buddies used to keep some old blue blockers in the huntin-mobiles and goof around like they were rally caps or somethin! Bout to go gig us a hoss buck! Lol. But the amount of cardio in this episode is setting a good balance between pizza and biscuit gravy. May be why KC had the BG's...Super stoked either way! Awesome episode bros! BUCK TRUCK!!!!!

God gave me a set of cameras with instant feedback. One on each side of my nose. I’ve never in my life hunted with a deer camera. I’ve always just walked the land that I hunt looking for scrapes, tracks and trails

I’m from PA and me and my family take trips to MT and the last time we went we got a permission from someone we call the widow woman. The original farm we hunt has 1,000 acres. The widow woman has 6,000 acres. More ground that we know what to do with.

The Element, as a show, is great. MeatEater, as a show, is great. I'm not sure what's going on with BuckTruck. I genuinely want to like this show. Then I see two great deer get hit with sub-optimal shot placement. Yes, that 2nd deer went down quick. That arrow transversed it's entire digestive cavity. I understand stuff like that happens, but two thoughts. With a CoC / fixed blade, that little stuff in front would have been no big deal, and the arrow could have been a lot further forward, which would have been mostly lungs and heart, rather than lung, liver, intestine. Second, with a heavy fixed blade, a frontal would have been entirely possible. You got it done, for sure. The support of two people who love deer hunting, leaning on each other, is great. The friendship, the camera crews, the work that goes into finding the deer, that's all awesome. I have a very small channel. If I put up a shot like K.C.'s last two, I'd be SWAMPED with haters. Everything about this show is great, with the glaring exception of shot placement. Yeah, those deer were recovered and yeah, they died quickly. I'm not arguing that. This already has 50K views, and I'm sure it'll have a lot more before the next ep comes out. There's 1.1 MILLION PEOPLE subrx'd to this channel. What did they learn? That it's ok to take a shot you THINK you know the distance on? That it's ok to take a sub-optimal shot angle as long as it's lethal? IDK. I love MeatEater, and I genuinely like you boys from @TheElement. I'm having trouble squaring the shot placement on 2 of the last three deer though.
