He proof you can be in the business young and actually survive, no overdose, not suicide, never shot at from rap beef. 💪🏾👍🏾〽️💫 Im sure he had his ups n downs but he still here 😤
@@RelloSoDamnDizObeyish right that's my point, and he was also giving credit to wat you are saying by stating he was blessed. He mentioned that's also the problem with the labels not being active with the artist to make it easier for them. They jus focus on capitalizing off of them. But I do agree with you cuz he did have folks looking out for him, some nowadays don't. 💯
There need to be a biopic of Bow Wow because he went through so much! I am so glad he is alive and doing his thing. We had Kris Kross etc.. and not many are still alive and still in the business. I like how Bow Wow answers and shares his story. Bow Wow's mom is smart for having him taking that quick spot on the the A. Hall show. I love the death row stories. Imagine Bow getting the roles of on Family Matters and The Little Rascals. I love hearing the story of Snoop, JD, Da Brat and 2pac. Hearing him reflecting at this age is refreshing. He looks like he is at peace ever since he became a father, he changed for the better. I love his honesty about Kris Kross. They were amazing. RIP Chris Kelly. LOL The R.Kelly impression on the phone. Imma Flirt was a good song.
He's sorta like Hip Hop Royalty and Hip Hop's first son. He's from the Midwest, he was based out of Atlanta and had California Death Row ties. Suge also loved him.
I remember as a kid for my 8th birthday I got like $20 from my aunt and I literally went to the music store and bought the Doggy bag album. So literally my first album ever purchased. Man I had that thing on replay for daysss. Truly a legend for us 90s kids.
I respect Bow's response to the issues with JD & Brat. As a fan of his for many years, I knew this was the real reason behind their differences. JD and Bow really appear to have a genuine father/son relationship. I hope he and Brat get back tight. She was only sticking up for JD about things that should have been kept private.
I loved this interview ! Hands down one of my favorites. Transparent, vulnerable, exciting, hopeful, and entertaining all at once! Especially if you grew up watching him and his music develop. Biggups to his artist development.
I'm so glad you're coming back. It will be such a blessing. I love your music Bow Wow. I'm looking forward to your new album. Peace 🕊️ Love 💕 and Blessings 🙏🏾
To be in the game since 6yrs old and to be able to sit today in sound mind and share these stories, I am very proud of him. Hollywood can be very hard on kids, I am glad to see he is doing well. Wishing him the best. And yes I remember when I was like 11 hearing him cussing on Doggystyle's album I remember thinking who's bad ass kid is that? LMAO!
he defended the Asian woman who killed Latasha Harlins. The broad only got 5 yrs probation. Most dont know that. Ice Cube dissed him on the song “my skin is my sin” google the song and read the lyrics. He made an error and called him Jimmy..dude wasnt a famous lawyer at the time..mofo wasnt for us at all
@@ACECAL-cl4tbhe was talented for a kid THAT age. He couldn't hold his own on creativity without writers. If he'd stuck to making hits for the ladys like Let me hold u down I feel like he'd still be somewhat relevant musically but instead he tried to portray a thug image knowing damn well the whole world LITERALLY watched him grow up that's what really ended his shit.
This is a good interview, never knew about the death row era before hand. Bow Wow was my shit when I was a lil kid, I almost seemed to forget somehow. I believe the first 3 albums I ever bought on CD were: Eminem- The Slim Shady LP, Green Day- Dookie, & Bow Wow- Beware Of Dog. In the year 2000 I was in Kindergarten! I remember having a show and tell. The items I chose to bring in were: A box or 80's-90's Sports Cards, My favorite stuffed animal who was a dog named Brownie, A few Hotwheels cars, & that Bow Bow CD. Used to bump it all the time, loved the song Bounce wit me. I also watched the music video all the time as well on the Big Mama's House DVD. It was within the special features. Back then we didn't have computers and youtube wasn't really a thing. Lol, watching this brought back some unexpected memories. Very cool! 😁✌🏼
Now this is HOW YOU INTERVIEW YOUR GUEST you ask the questions & let the GUEST answer them not ask the questions and then interrupt the answer while he's answering it i hate when certain channels interrupt the answer because you cutting off what he or she was about to say and its a 2 big channel out there that have top of the line guests on there channel im not saying who it is but that ish be pissing me off im like damn bruh we missing out on what they was about to say because u wanna jump in redirect the damn question b4 he finish answering it smmfh
@@robinnewmanburton You're the one who's wrong. Beware Of Dog debut was in 2000. His career as Lil Bow Wow didn't really pop til the year 2000. Real fans know that.
I’ve Loved Bow Wow Since A Kidd & It Was A Dream Come True To Finally Meet Him As An Adult My Mom Kept All My Braids Like His Growing Up Every Video He Released I Was Excited Couldn’t Wait For Bow Wow To Drop & His Visuals Just Beautiful Wit That Long Hair & Wit Out It ♥️❤️🌹💯✨ I’ve Been So Distracted Lately My Mom Had To Tell Me About This Interview 😮🫣😁✨
I’ve not seen the shorts but this is a GREAT interview. I’m 34 so feel like I grew up with this brotha. Was obviously a fan of his music through the 2000’s - Like Mike, BET etc🇬🇧
I still love this man!! I was a die hard fan.. went to see him at the Beverly connection across the street from the Beverly center and got to see him face to face for his album signing❤ he blew me a kiss !! lol I went with Neyo new bm and her twin sister..we loved him !!
In 2001-2002 my pops took me to a lil bow wow concert in Houston..it was his tour for the beware of dog album..I also went to the g-unit get rich or die trying. I'm 34 now so shits crazy to think back on
We the same age im 34 years old aswell gonna be 35 in July and from Houston🤘🏿 we had a good childhood I'll feel sorry for kids these days they will never know how dope it was back then before social media took over
He finally growing up an speaking the true essence of hip hop. No longer rap. Hip hop had substance and he is really talking that shit. Having a story to tell thru your lyrics will always keep your audience engaged
Bow Wow great interview brother it's a new side to yourself and you go and get what you're thinking of, your full of ideas about all sorts of things man keep it real bra from Scotland scotty boy.
Great interview! I know I feel forced to buy Bow's durags. I think all of mine are his. I remember the first time I saw his face on one. I cracked up and bought it; I needed one.
I get how Bow Wow feels the outta my system song was bad timing and people would perceive him as missing her which some did he was right about that, but that record was crazy! I agree it should've been next. I absolutely love that song the beat and Bows acting in the video as well. I'm a flirt is a good colab, but I am glad outta my system was picked. Still listen to that record to this day along with Like You, Fresh as I'miz, Let me hold you and Shorty like mine. Great interview!
I think this is one of the best interviews I've ever seen. Bow wow is being very honest about industry relationships, the ups and downs of being a celebrity and you don't hear that a lot. He's a very humble guy for his body of work. I'm a year older than bow so I grew up watching his movies listening to his music. Nice job with the interview
I didn’t think Bow Wow would do a lot of interviews. He should probably do more a lot more often despite what people think of him personally, he still had a successful one as a child, and he still here to talk about it movies multi platinum, selling artist all before damn near 25 not a lot of people can see that
Heavy I just heard After 3 O'clock for the first time 2 days ago. Sounds Cool. Tupac Who Do You Believe In ft Kadafi and Nancy Fletcher JAY-Z When the Money Goes prod by Jermaine Dupri is a massive classic. The Fabolous version is a classic too.
I love how he carry himself. Speaks well very mature and wise. Not like these other rappers who talk and act like they still in the streets on all these videos
I enjoy this interview yeah I'm not a big Bow Wow fan but I appreciate that I agree with him about artist development and try to trach new artists about the business and how to stay relevant.Thats what Prince and Michael Jackson was trying to do.
Aye man people use to clown me but i really effed with bow wow since bounce with me...i was 16 from brooklyn at the time and of course i liked nas jay etc but the idea of bow wow was dope and well executed. Also i respect his body of work i always champion for bow wow And his movies was dope also And the whole 106 park stuff Hes most def a hip hop legend Bow wow should pop his ish more his resume is crazy.
I feel like Bow Wow isn't done with giving us his hardest body of work in his rap game Bow Wow gotta prove more show and give us his hardest rap album ever shut every hater down at least 20 tracks 2 Disc CDs exclusive bangers with surprise features 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Kinda of, let’s not forget get his trying to be relevant Campaign & lying about these class lifestyle he was living in. I’m sure after everyone saw him lying about made him feel embarrassed.
Roll bounce and Lottery Ticket is definitely part of the culture classic films not to take away from Bow Wow but also ATL all classics for the culture films
Why did everybody start hating Bow Wow a few years ago? This was a really good interview. He’s so smart and very mature. Love the way he handled the situation with Brat. Def looking forward to hearing the new music. Might have to dust off my jersey dress 😂
Absolute legend I know people today like to clown him but if u were a kid that grew up in the early 2000s then u know how big bow wow really was I literally made my big sister braid my hair because of him give this man his 💐 while he still here 💯
Truth like mike one of my favorite childhood movies and bow got classic tracks “let me hold you” with Omarion and the duet with Ciara forgot the name how could I but classic and “bounce with me” bow a legend 🔥💯💐
