I was 17 when the 🐐 died and I wanted to go so bad to Cleveland Death row concert at that time but my parents would not let me because my young adolescence trouble issues! As a midwest 2000s baby...learning my first ever favorite rapper was under 2pac/Deathrow (whose now my favorite rap artist of all time and has been so since 2015) is pretty unique...funny in high school I used to downplay and negate the fact that my first favorite rapper was bow wow and that I actually enjoyed that whole era of "bumble gum rap" for the sake of fake morale/being pretentious just to find out and beleive that my first favorite rap star (who was the face of the whole 106 & Park/bumble gum rap era that i trully loved but was too pretentious/hypocritical to admit for the sake of my new "real rap" morals)... was somewhat a product of the whole deathrow era this entire time...wow.
