Man I was in 9th grade when that joint dropped. Song was fuckin everywhere!! Remix version with T Pain & T.I etc was fuego. Still some of my favorite artists of all time

I always appreciated Bow Wow so much for always acknowledging what of a great artist Kellz is. He don't never hate on him, talk bad about him or try to take away everything that be brought to music over the years and I truly love the hell out of him for that cause too many people are focused on what the media says and all the negative stuff from literally years ago that they seem to have forgotten what Kellz did for the whole music game as a artist, a writer, a storyteller, producer and just overall musical genius! They got my boy messed up and not to mention I didn't even know Bow was behind that beat! That's crazy
Kellz is a sexual predator and sexual abuser to literal children. Who gives AF if he can sing and dance. Plenty of people who aren't demons can sing too.
They got him messed up? I've never taken anything away from his music, but the other stuff... I can't even listen to some of those early Aaliyah songs anymore thinking about how that went down.
Bow wow knows most artist are just as guilty if not more … when you know no one’s hands are clean and if everyone was judged for their deeds there would be no talent to appreciate.

I don't think people know that their favorite artist of all time or even their favorite pastor at church are guilty of things they will never admit too. It's funny how people pick and choose which celebrities they want to judge or not. People would be amazed at some of the skeletons in half of Hollywood's closets.

I took away 2 things from this.. 1. R. Kelly is a channeler 2. They did Bow Wow dirty and made him miss out on enjoying a deserved opportunity and victory He needs a book
Kels is a real one for finding a way to get Bow Wow's song out, even if his version didn't get the love the remix did. And he still got to eat. Great story.
That shout out to R.Kelly by Bow Wow was profound. What many people do not realize is that Bow Wow is just corroborating other R.Kelly stories that he takes less than 10 minutes to make a dope record, and also the fact that he transactions into the person he is writing the song for when he is in the studio. The R.Kelly impression was an icing on the cake.
It ain’t no WOULDVE …. The song was on bowwowS ALBUM … the version with tpain n ti was just the remix that they played a lot .. but bowwow still got a plaque from that
I still remember during that “growing up hiphop” show my 🥷🏾 was standing up for Kelly , he didn’t even want kells ex-wife at his party , I’m pretty sure the producers of the show probably told him to stop defending him 🤦🏾♂️

I Agree if you remember back in 2003 on bow wow unleashed album, where he dropped the lil from his name and cut his braids off. notice It's was bow 1st album with JD, Because after like mike came out the summer of 2002, bow wow and Jermaine Dupri had a huge argument over creative differences ,then Bow wow stop fucking with JD And even then he wanted to branch out on his own at that time.
that music industry business is crazy you’d be surprised which songs we hear that were for someone else….like at one time i had no idea that Marsha Ambrosious wrote “Butterflies” on Michael Jackson’s album Invincible or that JayZ wrote Snoop and Dr Dre verses on Still D.R.E.
