Vice video fellas, made me remember my uncle trying to stick some mullet on the Indian river back in the mid 80's. It was just a regular recurve bow without a reel on it. He managed to stick one pretty quick,thinking he'd just stick it to the bottom. Nope, should of seen that fish take off with his arrow (not attached) moving fast. I had tears rolling down my cheeks I laughed so hard watching him high-stepping through the water trying to catch his arrow stuck in the fish. He didn't get his arrow back.

Your videos are awesome! I have decided to pull the trigger on my first bow setup because of them. Curious though, what do you guys do with all the fish after?

Texas here.ive never seen a fish like that,it looked like one of those fish you see in fish tanks that suck on the glass and never move you know,i started bowfishing in 1994 i shot a bowfin that was totally different it looked more like a cat fish with a weird head,but yea the tilapia here in texas are hard as hell to kill in lake fairfield and they are lightning fast and smaller.its weird seeing them in the mud like that,were they nesting or something,the ones here are hiding in the tall grass and as soon as you move to draw back they take of,well at least during the day time,anyways,oh yea my first bow was a onieda screaming eagle its a big heavy bow but man that thing shot fast,i traded it for a pse bow that was actually signed by pete sheply of pse or something like that,its been a while haha,later guys

They look to be at least 2 lbs or better , are pretty and look like they can put a bend in a ultra light or fly tackle. Will they live here in NC?
