When it comes to the shape of the pushaway, a lot has changed over time. According to USBC Gold Coach Karen Pullman and Team USA Assistant Head Coach Kim Terrell-Kearney, today’s modern pushaway shape is much smoother and more rounded than it used to be. This shape creates less grip pressure and greater accuracy and consistency.

Where should the hand be in relation to the elbow during the pushaway? I dont remember Kim talking about that
