Not surprised he left. I love the idea of this mod but the writings been on the wall since the beginning that this was doomed. Homer deleted and remade his channel all the time, made a video literally just to ask 1 specific person to comment less, told everyone to get out of his discord server but changed his made at the last second when 95% of people had left, changed his mind AGAIN and kicked the remainders out anyway. All signs of someone who just doesn't have the confidence to commit to a project like this

The dialogue is my biggest pet peeve with this; I know Paper Mario has gotten dark at points, but not...edgy to this level. Even if it doesn't have the same 'punch', phrases like "game over"/"make you sleep under darkness' embrace" would fit more. It's more jarring bc it takes itself seriously, and I do think Dark Bowser's a bit out of character as a whole here and way too comedic as Fawful is there

I find it funny how it even tries to make jokes like how Jr Troopa sold his soul for candies, while roboticized he just starts to quote informatic terms, then kills Goompa and he says "tell my grandkids i loved them" then he just poofs Truly the hack of all time

The animations are also pretty funny

Well the guy who was running it kind of left... a damn good modder he was, but otherwise... well, drama is unimportant. Anyway other guys are supposedly inheriting the project but idk how active they are

Meta Knight,King Dedede,also Bowser ain't a hero,the only reasons he helps Mario save the world in the canon Mario games is so he could conquer it later, "You're saying this kingdom will vanish? THIS KINGDOM IS ALL MINE!" He doesn't do it because he's a nice person,he just wants to rule it on his own,he's no hero.

Yeah boss note how it only says chapter one, the big cheese of the operation kind of gave up. Dunno if the other guys are still working on it
