I’d like to see an extension of this video where you attempt to get as many cat shines as you can without touching blue. I feel like there’ll be some really fun and challenging and interesting shines. And maybe some cool strays as well. (ie for the blue switches on mount magmeow, I believe you can trigger them with boomerangs so that could work). I know it would be a lot of work but it’d be a cool video

@@atsukana1704 The boomerang is not blue. The Boomerang Flower has blue on it, but that bit doesn't touch you when Bowser Jr throws it to you. It does put blue clothes on you, but he doesn't count clothing. For example, the White video didn't count Mario's gloves. More relevantly, the Yellow video allowed the cat suit after touching the white section of the Giga Bell. TLDR: The Boomerang Flower would follow Nico's color rules.

The end of this challenge begs the question, "How many Cat Shines are ACTUALLY REQUIRED to beat the game?" Considering the end result here was 43 + the skips to get here, I think the minimum requirement could be much less

Little Easter egg Spoiler for people that didn't finish the game yet! When you are in the end battle and "hit" bowser a 3rd time you dont actually hit him if you pay close attention he actually uses some kind of shield. And thus resulting in you having to hit him again. Since the 3rd one didn't count

I'ma say this now... it is impossible to beat Bowser's Fury. The reason: Mario is wearing blue overalls when you start the game or when you get hit with any power up equipped. There it's impossible to beat Bowser's Fury without touching blue.

Technically Plessie s crest is blue too and in some actions collides with Mario so I think this challange is technically impossible but fun and rewarding at the same time
