Glad you enjoy you zion and really glad your HAVING FUN shooting it it is a great looking bow and even though my bowtec is also 10 or 11 yrs old I still love to shoot it and HAVE FUN and it still shoots as good as the day it was new

Love this bow, this bow company, and finally I like/love the fact that you are a guy that I can relate to and can see myself shooting it. I am new and am shooting the Sanlida X8 and a Shatterproof RD Bones Long bow. Getting better but want this bow when I feel I deserve it. Great video!
John, the Carbon Zion is an awesome bow and makes the second BowTech I have purchased. My first, and I still have it, is the BowTech Assassin that came out in 2011. What I loved about the Assassin and now the Zion, they came ready to hunt with. It is what BowTech called R.A.K. (Ready Aim Kill), all you needed was some arrows and trigger and you were set to go hunting. I have said that the Carbon Zion was the Assassin resurrected. BowTech stopped producing the Assassin, about 3 years after it came out, but that is BowTech for you, always improving and coming out with new bows. The Zion is a lot lighter in weight than the Assassin, and that is due to the carbon riser. I did change a few things though when I got my Zion, when I made the order I asked for the Rip Cord drop away rest instead of the 3 brush arrow rest. I also opted for a better stabilizer. After getting the bow, and shooting it, I decided that I wanted better sites, and I ordered and installed the Spot Hogg Fast Eddie two pin site. This setup has worked out great for me, I just took a doe with it on October 29th of this year. Video is on the channel now. @@JnJTrueOutdoorAdventures Thanks for the info and I was leaning to get just the bow as I have upgraded sites on the X8 and now, sort of, know what I want. I definitely want a drop away rest and will try the Rip cord. Also unsure of the entire stabilizer issue but the one that came with the X8 is junk. I have no shop near me and I want the x8 to be as good as it can get so when a bad shot comes out of it, I know it’ll be me not the bow. Still tweaking on it but need a vise, coming today, to make setup is straight and all is level and correct.

You won't be disappointed in the Zion. I love it, Big Al loves his!! I have told many people that to me the BowTech Carbon Zion is the resurrection of the BowTech Assassin that was introduced in 2011. Big Al and I still have our Assassin's, they have become our backup bows. My Zion can shoot the same arrows that I use for the Assassin. The Zion pretty much comes like the Assassin did, R.A.K. Thanks for the lead on these bows buddy! I’m checking and can’t find them new in 2023. Most of these companies do this ! I’ll keep my eyes open for a gently used one . If you run accross one how bout letting me know buddy?
You're welcome. I will keep a eye out and let you know. If they discontinued them I am going to be furious. They did the same thing with the BowTech Assassin, it was out like 2 years and they discontinued it. The Assassin and the Carbon Zion are great bows and they came R.A.K. (Ready, Aim, Kill) all you needed was a trigger and some arrows. Everything else was on the bow. I will have to look on their website.
Hey thanks for the review! Great stuff!!! I ordered this bow in early March and haven’t heard a thing yet,,, still waiting. Bowtech must be in a bad way for orders or parts or something. I hope it shows up soon, less than 90 days until till the season starts! Thanks again from Nova Scotia Canada 🇨🇦
No problem, Ryan thanks for watching and commenting. Yea, they are behind for sure, Jerod ordered his BowTech, not the Zion, back end of February or first of March and still hasn't gotten it yet. But, he did find out yesterday the shop received the invoice for two bows that are on the way. Thanks Alex for watching and commenting. I love my Zion!! If you watch our videos you will see that we all are BowTech fans. Started about 10 years ago when my son got the Destroyer 350, and my bother in law and I got the Assassin. I just did a 10 year review on the Assassin, which I still have and won't get rid of, it is still going strong. But the Zion being only 3.3 pounds was the seller with me, and also you can get it in the package setup almost like the Assassin came. I just posted a short of how the Zion is grouping and what it did to one of my arrows!!! LOL Again thanks for watching and commenting. Juddie - J & J TOA

Good looking bow 3.3 # that’s pretty light love the color. I had a bow tech years ago. That’s what i shot my bear with. I wanted a assain soo bad never got one. I plan on doing a review on my bow sometime before season got a few reviews to do. Take care 👍
Brian, it almost feels like I don't have anything in my hand. This makes my second Bowtech and I don't think I would ever go away from Bowtech. Now they made me mad when they discontinued the Assassin after about 2 years, I wanted to get a black Assassin. When I was ready, they had been discontinued and there were none around. So after holding the Zion in the shop, and seeing how lite it was, I bit the bullet/broadhead (LOL) and bought one. As you can tell I was having fun. Looking forward to seeing your reviews. Thanks Adam!! As I said once I held that bow while at the shop, I knew I had to have one. As you can see in the video it shoots great. Almost had a robinhood, if you watched to the end! You got that right Mike! Love the Bowtech bows. My first Bowtech, which I still have and is 12 years old, is the Bowtech Assassin. This Carbon Zion to me is the resurrection of the Bowtech Assassin. Especially since you could get it as a combo package with quiver, sites and rest, and it didn't break the bank. It is a fast shooting bow, and smooth draw and release. Preston, this is the new bow for 2021. The Bowtech Assassin is no longer made. This Carbon Zion is new for 2021 and is almost like the Assassin. Juddie - J & J TOA

I hate to disagree with a reviewer but yes I do. The shop set everything up for me. I might have 29” draw, it is more like 28.5” and those arrows are 26” for sure. My BowTech Assassin is setup exactly as this one. We appreciate you for watching and commenting. Juddie - J & J TOA
