I just picked one up for 700 bucks US but it had an HHA Tetra Max 4 pin sight and a ripcord Lok rest attached .... I consider it a great deal since combined the sight and rest cost as much as I paid for the whole package. the bows coming out today aren't that much of an improvement over what was available from bowtech in 2020 either.
Set you up a 70 in comfort at 28. Take the brass off. Rubber disk move them up and down just setup a d loop. Pull it back like its a 60 lb bow! It may surprise you! So glad you did a review on the revolt x! Keep it coming!!!
PLEASE compare/comment; Reckoning 38 vs Rezult vs Supra Focus. There are no dealers near by with target bows, so your reviews are a huge factor in my purchases! Which are you going to shoot this next indoor season?
Great review Steven!!! I absolutely love my Bowtech Prodegy. It also has 3 different settings. Classic, comfort and performance. Even in performance mode it's a very smooth draw cycle. Only the valley is shortened. I'm glad to hear that you picked Bowtech up again as a distributor!!! The Revolt X is an awesome looking bow and obviously performs like a pro!!! 🏹🏹🏹
The performance setting adds about 10fps and really doesn't change how smooth the draw cycle is, it also got a setting on the cams were you can adjust the timing with out a bow press. I tried the reign 6 the realm and the revolt and ended up choosing the reign 6, they were all great bow's but they knocked of a few $100 of the reign because it was a few years older than the others, I probably would have choose it anyway but it definitely help my decision. it's the best bow I've had, I've been a Hoyt's fanboy and this is the first bow I've had that wasn't Hoyt's, I've been missing out by getting caught up in the hype and have been missing out because of it.
Nice bow the overall look reminds me of a Win & Win Atom , the thin lattice design means it spent more time being machined, cams look mean ! The stand out innovation for me is the weighted cams !
I know what you mean, I have a new PSE Supra Focus XL and I needed to wind it down to 50 pounds or so. They say 10 turns max, I took it out 9 turns and I'm thinking "Man, that's a lot of bolt sticking out on top, I don't see that there could be any more bolt inside the riser". I'm not sure why they don't drill the winding bolt hole clear through so you can at least see in there. Kind of scary.
Is a great quality bow which had less buzz than others this year because the SR6 from the year before is faster and the Realm X from two years ago is still probably their best model. I would love to see this model in a longet (35" or 36" ata) format, maybe replacing the lovely BT Max. Aiming to buy my second compound this fall and so far the race from current models would be between the PSE Evo NXT 35" and the Prime Black 5, but I expect a Elite Kure 35", a replacement for the Mathews Halon X 35" and some other additions before to get my second (3D oriented) model. This year most of bows are gentle to draw and have no vibration due most of brands do use parallel/close to parallel geometry. The only drawback of the Revolt X is the slow speed compared to others.
Hey steve, Quick question, im about to buy a new bow, currently shooting a 65# browning rage, but for my new bow im torn between the elite kure and the bowtech revolt x. My goal is to do target shoots and do the odd hunting trip! Which bow would you prefer for an all-round target/hunting bow, and what would be the reason for your choice?? Regards Justin
It does look like you're having to draw an extra ½" to get to the back wall. You seem to be getting back to your normal draw length, and then having to draw a bit further. You don't do this with the other bows.
I have the BOWTECH REVOLT 30inches axle to axle ibo is 335. Has the deadlock cams. Clutch grip. Flip disc tech. It is dead in the hand. And a tac driver and its quiet
I’m surprised by the speed, mines giving me 312 and 10gr over ibo at 29dl on the comfort setting. Given another inch dL and performance setting and a slightly lighter arrow im pretty sure it would be close to 340fps

I recently purchased the pse perform x 3d I got a question about limb bolt/draw weights adjustments. how many full rotations can i give the bolt before reaching the end of the bolt?. what happens if I unscrew it too much?. what happens when it reaches the end of the threads?.
Do you have the Data card that comes with every new PSE? If so max turns out are on the card. If you unscrew it too far , its bad, very bad - the bow will go TWANG and you will cry
Bowtech have always been renown for innovation, however, quality control , durability of components and finish, are factors that may be overlooked in consideration.
BOWTECH has great quality and durable. And the finish on them. Is better then any bow on the market. BOWTECH moves forward. While mathews and hoyt fall back.
As a dealer, we got away from elite because customer service and parts are so bad. I'd recommend staying away from elite. If you like the tuning idea of the Kure go with the Bowtech. Bowtech's technology is proven to work. Elite's limb pocket system has been tried by PSE about 12 years ago and it doesn't work well

First of all, u shud have taken that piece of garbage rubber and brass nocks off and it wud have shot a much better group! I dunno why they even send their bows out with those rubber nocks on them any how. Next time, tie ur own dloop on.
