It’s an important thing to acknowledge; that despite the differences they had and impacts on their feelings towards each other regarding the creation of the BCR band/side projects. Mark Hoppus did get the opportunity to contribute with this song. He wasn’t completely left out. Those times were very testing for the members of Blink in different ways and impacted by their personal circumstances. I can see why it caused a rift between them. But even by his own admission, Mark didn’t have to accept the offer to appear on this song. As pissed off as he was, he still had the love within him to support Toms new creative musical venture at the time. Even to this day after their reconciliation and the reforming of Blink, he always professes how much love and appreciation he has for Tom’s Angels and Airwaves music and the achievements they made

Classic Tom Delonge right fucking here. His vibe, his guitar tone, voice, and overall style fucking ruled so hard back then.

During the breakdown starting at 1:49 you can hear Travis play more or less the exact beat/rhythm he ended up using for the chorus of Feeling This. To put into context, this actually makes a lot of sense because this show took place on December 15, 2002. Blink entered the recording studio (aka big house) less than a month later to begin the writing and (eventual) recording process for Untitled. Feeling This was the first song they completed for the album and it's pretty neat to think of how Travis must've thought to himself at one point something like, "I really like that rhythm i've been using in the boxcar cover...let me see how it sounds for the Feeling This chorus." History, my friends 🔥

that bridge of Mandy screams self titled and yeah travis is definitely experimenting with the cowbell beat for feeling this here.

For anyone wondering this was at Twisted 9 Christmas in Rosemont, IL on 12/24/02. It was their third to last show. I was there.

Box car racer have to be the most underrated side project ever such a shame really because they were great

such a great album and a huge part of my teenage experience thanks to them and the rock and punk etc I had a great one I left nothing on that slab and although I should have been studying I think we are who we are meant to be by who we choose to be and I chose love and fun every time. No Regerts!

thanks for the upload. i think your reasoning for the watermark is dumb, i mean if you really want people to credit you i guess its fine. But if i was you id know that videos like these are very rare and deserve to be officially preserved and available to the public without a watermark.
