I'm still working on getting my first car, box Chevy is the route I'm taking. I salute you bro, I'm from Alabama so you know I gotta represent when I get my first box Chevy. Right now I'm in Fort Campbell Kentucky, gotta bring that energy here mane. That Chevy clean as hell bro.
Nice box bro, personally i respect with the old school knowledge, far as paint I would do the bottom color with a exotic pearl stand out and be different,i got a 84 impala that im building
Beautiful car!! Like sitting on your livingroom couch.. My friend had one back in the 80s when we were in high school. They were a dime a dozen. Seen everywhere it seemed Everyday whenever we went out we were filling it up with gas. But it was powerful, drove like we were on clouds. But built like a tank. It looked like a cop car too. Awesome car. I think he paid 800$ back then at a used car lot
All the boxes in the two tone scheme is rare there hard to find in Texas I had the maroon over red YOU CANT GO WRONG WITH THEM 8"WHISTLES TIPS THEY FIt THE BOX CHEVY JUST RIGHT
Shout out from El Paso, TX fam I’m representing my box Chevy out here but you already know it’s about that box Chevy capital Chicago. You can’t go wrong with that OG paint look 👀 but they sun how weather hits different out here in the desert 🏜
Nice ride man. Just doing final tuning and small fixes on my completely hot rodded out 84 caprice classic wagon. stock 305 but did some head porting and full valve job, all new paint and gaskets, new intake, new edelbrock 1406(need to fatten her up a bit), hedman hedders, welded up a custom exhaust, set up a NOS '74 points distributor, electric fans, and much more. I'll have to check you channel to see what you painted yours, so maybe i can steal, er, be inspired by your stuff... Oh, and as a white guy I guess(6'4" neanderthal), my perspective on the huge rims with ridiculously thin sidewalls is just this: the proportions look all wrong for cars of this aesthetic. There are very sensible old school greek proportions going on with the classic car shapes, and outlandish proportions on something as visually obvious as the wheels just jumps out as out of place. I do think they look dope on other, less 'sensible' designs, but I also totally get the value of saying "fuck you i'll do what I want with my shit, doubly so if it pisses weaker people off and i can get a good laugh". I'm also a butcher in many ways, and often do things visually with my vehicles with the intent of pissing people off, or making people cheer - you get both with anything really cool, and both are awesome.
on a side note: it is really unbelievable how many of our cars have goddamn immaculate interiors. The only thing that goes bad is the headliners. Everything else always seems to be fresh, supple, and perfect with little if any wear, holes or discoloration. Fucking quality man.
Loving the whip i got a black 88 Caprice Landau 4dr and it's sweet can't wait to get the rally wheels like you. You are absolutely right white folks flag me down to talk to me nothing like a classic whip 💯✊🏽
@@Dakartattooing nope from Louisiana it's very solid i've sold plenty of old skools but i've learned over the years these cars are appreciated more....
Looking good brother from DC question brother what size tire you running on the front because I put 275-60-15 is that to big for the front or no let me know thanks brother
@@Dakartattooingits a 1988 with 65k miles out of PA gotta get new bumper fillers, left side chrome drip molding above the doors and center caps for the wire hubs is all I see super excited though this will be my 4th box keeping it OG though I'm from south Florida fort lauderdale to be exact so I feel you my landau had 4 inch lift and 23s, 4-12s back in 2005 but I'm done with that and the problems that come with it. Keep the content coming we watching and im gone do it right the first time on this one👍
Yeah big wheels are cool but if you had them before as you get older that look fades away. Never will the classic look fade especially with them white letter tires 🔥🔥
