Love this footage, they had one similar of the New Tesla Gigafactory in Berlin! Feels like the same stone pilot flying through the maze of the factory. Get a better view of production than if you walk through in person! Awesome!!

Here's what I would love to see in the near future...a BOXABL x IKEA collab or partnership. A specific model(s) utilizing BOXABL technology with IKEA furnishings. Go to IKEA right now and imagine being able to order, and unfold some of your favorite showroom spaces altogether i.e. bedroom, living room, kitchen, and bath all in one box. Game Over!

Wow. Just Wow. The concept, the company, the factory, and the production line getting out 1 per day! The drone footage is mighty impressive. I have never seen drone footage like this. Fabulous! Great to see an American company solving a very real problem that encompasses the housing shortage, income inequality, and sustainability. When I was single and a teacher I couldn’t afford my own house, but a Boxabl would have been in my budget (I earned $30k/year). Nice work from the drone in filming this, btw!

They will need to change regulations on what you can put on land, at least here in Colorado anyway. I'm sure most states are the same which is why tiny homes never took off. We've been looking for land for a while now but most places require the structure to be at least 600sqft...

Elon doesn't have any groundbreaking battery technology, Catl and BYD are the ones that are actually changing battery technology with lithium iron phosphate batteries. Tesla is buying the batteries from them and Panasonic.

We plan to release larger room modules hopefully within a year or two, right now, we are focused on the Casita because we have so much demand for that. We will announce more information and the availability of the other models soon! Stay tuned for updates as we develop!

Currently, everything comes directly from us in Las Vegas. As we expand, we will start to build factories in other areas improving delivery times and lowering shipping costs. We are happy to ship the units everywhere.

We haven’t done testing on this yet but expect it to be rated for all earthquake zones; our manufacturing method results in a solid building. We will post third-party test data on this once it's available.

When rating for earthquake safety it is not just the structure. The foundation, local geology, other structures nearby, large tree that might fail, soil studies to name a few, need to be done. This is NOT a one size fits all answer. I live in Southern California… there are also fire, flood, earth sinking factors in our state.

The Boxabl Casita is estimated to be $50,000 + shipping fee, and you get a fully finished house. Everything is included except the bed and the couch all of it is listed on the website.
