Boxcutter Beginner Tutorial 

You shouldn't have stopped making tutorials. You have been way better than Blender Bros. You see, you made this four years ago and it is still useful.

Wow, I spent the past hour getting frustrated with the very unintuitive and slow moving tutorials thinking boxcutter was just too difficult to understand, then I find your video. Amazing job explaining in a very straightforward and easy to understand way.

God bless you. :) I love MasterXeon's work, but even slowing him down to half speed and watching carefully for his operations, I still can't follow him. We need more tutorials like this.

Alt+w: to start Help tab bottom of the n toolbar B- bevels the box cut (scroll for more segments) Q- bevel bottom too Shift+click: leaves boolean visible and editable O- offset top of box E- to extrude bottom X- while drawing - slice Z- while cutting- inset T- adjusts inset thickness J- union operation K- knife cut boolean A while making a cut- box maker Y- while cutting a box- to copy existing cuts V- during cut array Vx2 - radial array T- solidify modifier, 3 to scale outer, 2 to scale inner, 1 to scale both Alt- while drawing- center box Alt+Shift+draw- perfect square D- boxcutter pie menu (interferes with DECALmachine) Scroll+circle cut to add/decrease segments Ctrl+double left click- paste previously created cut Nondestructive vs destructive Nondestructive creates modifiers on the cut object, and creates a collection with the cutters, hidden. (Hard-ops cut objects will also be moved here) geometry will not be visible in edit mode

5:28 Probably worth mentioning that if the "scroll to change vertex count" doesn't work, that this needs to be enabled in the addon install menu under preferences. Blender v2.82a

Excellent tutorial. Slow, precise and you described what you were doing on-screen so I could understand without even looking (as students are usually looking at their own screen anyway).

You explained this so well. I just watched two other videos and they couldn't explain the operations this clearly.

All cuts are created only when you have an object selected otherwise you'd be creating a new shape. Nice tutorial! Keep it up!

This is the most succinct and comprehensive tutorial on the add-on I've seen. Learned a lot from this than the 40 mins long videos on other channels.

Great tutorial, I was waiting for someone to actually take the time to explain and narrate each tool. Fast, effective, and really instructive, I don't regret the buy. (and Indeed Hardops might be nice, if, of course, you have the time and that is something you want to do).

Great tutorial! I watched a lot of loooong complicated videos about hard surface modelling unsure of what Add-On (Vanilla Blender, MeshMachine, HardOps, Fleunt, Speedflow, etc) makes the most sense to start with. This one is a finally a succinct overview of all the relevant features and was exactly what I needed.

Explain the stuff don't just have us looking over your shoulder to see what you're doing. Racheal's tutorial is articulated well, to the point, and explain the features one by one without the distractions or prattling. I've learned more from this tutorial in just a few minutes than the others I watched.
