My analysis of the lightweight division - which may be the most exciting and competitive in boxing. Currently, it's spearheaded by the champion, Vasiliy Lomachenko. But in recent years, the following young talents have emerged:
- Teofimo Lopez
- Gervonta 'Tank' Davis
- Devin Haney
- Ryan Garcia
All with incredible talents and superstar abilities to make an impact in not only at lightweight, but in the divisions beyond. Fans will be wishing for each of them to be matched with Lomachemko, and in this video I profile each fighter - providing a quick background to their story and entertain the idea of them stepping up to the ultimate test.

Another fun fact: The average age for haney, lopez, and garcia is 22. Loma is 32 years old. Loma turned pro at 26 and had to put a rush on it. The other guys all turned pro when they were teens.

Hey Momma leo is a champion at 130. He holds the wba super title. The belt that Tank held for 2 yrs at 130. Tank vacated it, moved up for 1 fight and is now moving back down to fight Leo for the belt. So Tank fought gamboa at 135 and before that nunez, ruiz and cuellar in last 2 yrs. Only cuellar came up from 126. Nunez and ruiz fought most they fights at 130. Yall need to really do your research before commenting.

Roc Liggins do you know how the Franchise belt works? The fighter is appointed by the WBC board of governors. Canelo, Mayweather, Vitality Klitschko held the same honor. You think he took the belt to “duck” Haney? You trippin. Haney wasn’t on the mans radar. It could’ve been any other fighter besides Haney when Loma decided to take the belt, and people would say. “ he took it to duck so and so”. That’s just not true. Franchise belt holders are considered the WBC rulers for their respective division. He can challenge for any WBC belt in ANY division he chooses. So for a guy in a mission, it’s the only obvious option

Who is Loma? You'll find out soon enough. He eating through these divisions. Took 3 divisions belts in 9 pro fights. 396 amateur fights with one loss. Dudes training and dedication are unparalleled. Lost his 2nd pro fight, even that was by decision after Loma got low blowed 41 times in that fight never got called on it or point reduction. His been knocked down once in his entire career.

Teofimo better be on top of his game when he and Loma bump heads. Loma is the only true one who's been taking belts and egos. Then you have Tank Davis who i believe will take Haney down. If anything he might be scared to get a loss on his record but he ain't scared to fight anybody. With that said I don't think Loma can keep Tank off of him for 12 rounds. Every type of punch Davis throws can put you down. If Davis have Loma in trouble like Luke Campbell he going to get a stoppage. Loma clearly won that fight with Campbell but got touched up. Tank got too many traps for Loma to not get touched up.

I may be in the minority but I'm not in a rush to see these guys fight each other just yet. They're all 22 and under, only just turning pro and with minimal experience.I say they're moving along just fine...Slowly stepping up in competition. And now it seems like they're all taking it up a notch by fighting Elite competition. Garcia is fighting Luke Campbell, Teo is fighting Loma, Tank is Fighting LSC and Haney is fighting mandatory. These are all great tests to see where they truly are at, I rather see them fight each other once they've proven themselves by beating the other elite. Social media clout means nothing to me if you haven't proven yourself
