It's also a cultural thing if I'm not wrong. Don't accept a gift else you'll be seen as greedy. Sometime you literally have to fight them to give a gift, especially when money is the gift itself. Just like how you can see some fight to pay for the restaurant bill 😅

When I was studying in China, many people helped me out and were very kind when I was struggling as a foreigner , I was living in Shenyang back then. Watching these video's brings back those memories ❤️
I also grew up in Chinese culture. I know very well that "have you eaten yet?" is the same as "are you ok?" in western culture. Full belly equals happy heart.
i just remember on my grade school days when i am waiting for my mom to pick me up and i am all alone because my friends and classmates has been picked up by their parentd and the only people left was the teachers and other school staff its 6pm that time and im so lonely sitting on the bench and so hungry that time because i have no lunch but some reason a really good vendor was walking hereby around with his chips and soda and god he gave me packs of biscuits and water and he told he sit by my side and i will never forget what he told me he "said if you grow older life will be harder but never forget to help other people" and he walk away and now im 16 i always remember him
@Hazard Hawk U know majority people are kind and caring but they never get exposure through the whole media shit and all.The only thing they show is crime and how people are bad. They never show how many people are good.
Mah online friend has another online friend who's chinese,i think?22 years old?i told him to be careful since he's like 7 years younger than the guy.but,then- a few days and he inteoduced me to his friend.HE WAS SO FRENDLY,AND FUNNY- he didnt seem like a bad hooman,he had a boufriend and i found out has adopted kids- cute 💜
I am Chinese and I live in US now. 5 years ago when I went here as a student, I did the similar thing if I saw someone need help. I remembered I was on the subway train and saw a homeless sleeping there and I left the meal I bought without waking him up. But now I don’t even take train because I am scared of Asian hate, especially after I got assaulted on the street and cried when face time with my parents after that. I was raised up being a kind person but the society need me to protect me first before I help others. What I can do now is just donating money to some NGO I trust. I don’t even walk on the street that frequently or take public transportation like before.
I'm so sorry the world isn't treating you well! Even if the world is beyond shit, you're still an inspiration - at least to me. I hope the rest of the world will grow up and stop this useless hate!

I was thinking the same thing, but then I thought about why, and it's probably because in Germany we have much less confrontation with real poverty and children left alone by working parents etc. I think it's a much bigger thing in China, they have real poverty. we don't.

When I was a little girl, my mom used to take me with her to college and work because at the time we couldn't afford a babysitter. People like this are honestly what helped my mom and I back then... Thank you for posting this video, it shows that good people really do exist out there, and how everyone should be with one another. ❤️

To be honest, I love China 🇨🇳 because it is a country full of kind people! Some people says that it's an evil country but trust me it's not! I have traveled over there and everyone cared about me so much and as I was not familiar with the language an uncle bought me a translater! Which was so expensive but still he did!
Not to be THAT guy but I'm pretty sure they talk about the system rather than the culture. Chinese themselves are kinds, welcoming and supportives. The food is delicious, the history is fascinating and the landscapes on the country-side is fucking wild. Have you ever been to the Detian Waterfall ? It's unreal it feels like Jurassic Park, by far the most memorable place I've ever visited.

Would they be so open minded and polite? Instead, they would be in constant fear and struggle. They would be numb about their ambience and they would even hurt the weak to get the every penny from them.
As a Chinese person, Chinese people really consider it commendable to work hard and diligently. It shows that you are willing to put a lot of effort for a successful and better future that will contribute to society. In their eyes, that child is really amazing. When it comes to China, they take their academics *very* seriously.

I remember when I was in kindergarten, I was often the one left alone in school, because my father's lunch after work in the morning is always late. My teacher would always share her lunch with me, and at the point she would bring along different juices. She was the most precious teacher ever!

@@angryleaf141 that's true, but a lot of kids in poverty doesn't have the main point about socializing in school just to have friends; instead they care about having proper education and many of them say "my wish is to finish school." which they cannot usually do. its really sad. i, myself, pretty much hates school because its so shit but it's all about strict education so its normal..
the fact that everyone here is kind and loving enough for the boy to be able to trust them to stay in her car, or let other people lead them to sit and eat somewhere safe is just heartwarming i wish we had more people like this around. We dont need more people like this, if we have the ability to change ourselves, but people dont really do that where i live.

I can see that most Chinese people are very kind and caring, I hope the discrimination of Chinese people will be gone. Ps. In the Philippines most filipino hates chinese because of west Philippine Sea issue and corona virus. I hope one day will come for China and other countries to Unite and stand together with mo discrimination and racism :(
If you really look into it, people are not hating on Chinese people. In fact, we have long ties with them especially that we have Filipino-Chinese communities. The strong dislike is towards the Chinese gov't and of course some Chinese visitors/migrants who do bad things in our country. Now, some people are misguided and misinformed so they generalize and put all the anger towards all Chinese people when in fact, it is the Chinese gov't doing the wrong things towards our country & fellowmen.

Ive been whatching this videos, and I think some people are ignorant in the western world. Chinese people are so kind and welcomed. I dont understand why people are attacking this people by saying that the world is doomed by the covid 19 because of them. They are suffering like the rest of the world too. @@frankd8358 not really. Some of the Dynasty did not even let them citizen have an education. And, even if they have, many poor people couldn't get an education because you need money to pay for it during those dynasty.
I am so happy to see this type of pure behaviour. This motivates me to be the same and at the same time makes me realise that there are many good-hearted people too on this earth and so I should not hesitate to be kind. I am feeling very sad while saying this but it's the truth that in my country no one cares about a child doing his homework on the streets.
Hey admin. Why do you do this to me? I cried for the whole duration of the video. I was a Foreign English Teacher in China for 6 years. I met different kinds of students. I met a student just like the child actor in this video. I saw him doing his homework on the sidewalk most of the time while waiting for his mom. This is not just a social experiment but a reality in few or some cases. I really like how Asian People value education and family-ties. In this video, I commend the man (delivery-man) the most. He couldn't offer temporary shelter for the child, so offered food instead. Small act of kindness but will impact someone else's life. Kudos!
To be honest, it's really normal in china. There's a saying goes: Regard all elders as your (grand)parents, regard all kids as your own kids. So China society is a big family. It's interesting to see so many ppl are surprised at the kindness of Chinese, which shows the cn gov really doesn't good at presenting china, presenting the life of ppl there.
