the sheer bizarreness of an American teen movie from the 80s-00s is unmatched 🤣

Just learned about this movie. As a side note, it would be impossible to create this film today, for there were at least three scenes that would easily put some of the characters in prison.

80s low budget comedy gold. 🤣

Love how Cha Chi became a scientist, then basically got the lead to a whole series Charles in Charge (which was pretty good). And oh, that getting high fantasy scene!

Caught this one on cable a very long time ago. The actress playing Barney's girlfriend, Bernadette (Felice Schachter), kinda reminds me of a young Connie Sellecca.

By far, the best thing about this movie was the soundtrack. The songs written and performed by David Pomeranz were some of the best to come out of the 80s.

I really liked this movie as a kid, it reminded me of a more light hearted "Carrie", complete with gratuitous nudity at the prom!

Apparently, Heather Thomas, who played Jane the Cheerleader, was apprehensive about filming her nude scenes, so they used a body double, and pasted her head on a picture. Thomas apparently filed a complaint with the Screen Actors Guild.

Yes I remember this movie from the 80’s called zapped fun and humorous and sexy to 80’s style !

Let me tell yall a story: Once a man spent a whole week, going to a park and creepily stalking another man and his remote plane. This man which we will call "unidentified man" is a quite a weird man, who has nothing better to do. So each day he would bring a remote controller, and adjust the frequencies on the controller, everytime he went to the park. Now with some sheer effort and will, he finally managed to take control of the plane, which at first, he simply made the plane turn a bit to the left, to make sure it went unnoticed. And it worked, and it almost looked like the wind simply nudged it. And thus, the last day of the week, on the sunday morning, I was once again at the park, flying my new remote plane and chasing another man with it, who was screaming something about his remote plane going rogue. The park is sure filled with weirdos. -Cheers!

Nice Vid, toned down description, another interesting 'sound' track, good monotone voice. But the movie' Zapped' will live on, as its part 2,'Zapped 2', both are 80's low-budget, fan-favorites. Low-budget compare to the TROMA films of this era, more fan-favorites from New Jersey and the 1980's. Loved the reminder, Thank you.

The movie is “Zapped!”, lol!!! This was one of my favorite outings in debauchery as a child! Lol!! There is absolutely NO WAY that this movie could be made today what with all the social justice warriors and people so easily offended.

I felt bad for the blond girl. She was sexually assaulted when her blouse was unbuttoned and then at the prom when all her clothes was stripped off. This is a total abuse of power to do something like this.
