I'm just surprised that Boy George is alive and George Michael isn't. BG had drug problems in the 80's , basically a nervous break down in front of the everyone. I thought we would lose him. I'm glad he's still around.
Me too! I watched a boy George special online and the part about his drug issues involved his mother and brother doing everything they could to help him stop. George was blessed with a family like that. If not, he probably wouldnt have made it. I wasn't even around back then but watching that special...I really felt that.
@@lessismore8533 sames goes to me..so sad that im not around on this golden era, where life is so good then..well i was born 1989. And u 1990..am i right?
@@davidlondon2810 Oooohhhhh how I dislike repeated tabloid media trash! This comment shows that you don't know anything about Yog's personality and life. Bloody Boy George is the one bullying him due to envy and jealousy, because Yog is the MUCH better and superior talented artist.
@@yogssoulmate9735 George Michael had serious drug issues and could never deep down accept the fact he was gay which was why he cruised risky places incognito for years until he got busted in that West Hollywood toilet. He felt ashamed of being gay because of his upbringing and felt ashamed after he got outed. He smoked so many spliffs on a daily basis that he caused himself mental issues. This is not tabloid tittle tattle but we’ll know among people who knew him and also among gay men who were aware of his clandestine cruising activities for years before he got busted.
One of the greatest singing voices ever! I love that he dares to be different and unique. I hate status quo and he is anything but. And he is simply gorgeous in such a unique style. Always and forever one of the best....
Helen Terry, Smokey Robinson, DIana Ross, Stevie Wonder, Luther Vandross, Liane Folley, PM Dawn at Disneyland, Gladys Knight, Kelly Rowland and the Voice contestants all amazing.
WOW !!! I LOVE IT !!! MY BOY GEORGE IS LOVED BY SO MANY!!! AFTER EVERYTHING I'M JUST SEEING THIS. OF COURSE HE WAS SO BIG & STILL SUCH A SURVIVOR. STILL LOVE U💖
OOH I think it's so beautiful and wonderful to see them all showing each other love and support I love boy George simply one of a kind beautiful style 💚💕💚💚💚💕💚💚💕💚💕💚🙏
I didn't know he had collaborated with the best.A real PRO When it came to carry a note .Powerful Performance not to disappoint anybody who had the chance to witness HISTORY.
Every decade he is a new person and artist, im excited now waiting for his coming projects 🥰, Isolation and Clouds are great, Blue Jeans is just amazing 🤩, and his artworks ... my dream 😍 what an extraordinary iconic human being. Feel blessed to be here now with him 💖. Btw you should include his duets with Dolly Parton and Dionne Warwick as well
Black artists really respected BG's talent. Him and George Michael would've been an incredible duet, but I suspect GM would've dodged it. You know, image and all lol. The 80s were dope!
They actually recorded a song together in the past (never came into fruition) and they also performed together but yes I agree with your comment! They would have killed it. Espeically a single of them during 1985-86 where they were both leaving their group.
@@SeanPerez No, they never recorded anything together, those where just rumours. But they performed together singing a duet. Of course George Michael outsinging Boy George big time. Their voices did not fit together as George Michael's voice is much stronger and much more powerful and versatile. Check all his life performances here on RU-vid, singing 'Somebody to love' during the Freddie Mercury tribute concert for example. Boy George would NEVER be able to sing like that. Even in his wildest dreams. 😂
Decades ago George supposedly did a Live Duet in Boston with Gloria Estefan - Her single 'Bad Boys' I have been looking for a video or audio of it for years?? Anyone have it?
What?! No duets with Linda Ronstadt?! I would like to have seen Boy George do a duet with the late great Dan Fogelberg! Now that would be something! I’ll boy George duet With Barbara Streisand and perhaps one with Frank Sinatra! “Oh boy”! (GEORGE)!
Without meaning to sound spiteful, Helen Terry on her own was mediocre, but when she sang with George, she was exceptional. Their voices were just perfect together.
