The Island County's Deputy Sheriff removed several women's sports fans from the District Cross Country Championships at South Whidbey High School on Whidbey Island, Washington who came to cheer the girls and women's rights to fair sports.
He accuses them of being disruptive, without cause, on public school grounds at a weekend sports event. He gives the principal, John Patton, the authority to remove people he doesn't want around.
The girls are facing male athletes in their competitions throughout the season. It should be noted that the police department did not see anything wrong.
