Skarsgård stars as "Boy" who avows revenge after his family is murdered by Hilda Van Der Koy (Janssen), the deranged matriarch of a corrupt post-apocalyptic dynasty that left the boy orphaned, deaf and voiceless. Driven by his inner voice, one which he co-opted from his favorite childhood video game, Boy trains with a mysterious shaman (Ruhian) to become an instrument of death and is set loose on the eve of the annual culling of dissidents. Bedlam ensues as Boy commits bloody martial arts mayhem, inciting a wrath of carnage and blood-letting. As he tries to get his bearings in this delirious realm, Boy soon falls in with a desperate resistance group, all the while bickering with the apparent ghost of his rebellious little sister.

The fact that Yayan Ruhian a.k.a. Mad Dog from The Raid movies is in this movie made me so excited for the action scenes. He deserves so many big action roles and Hollywood better not waste his talent. He's 55 years old and can still kick ass like a beast!

And the only reason why I kno the voice is bcuz my ex-gf used to watch Bob’s Burgers & I from time to time catch an episode with her ya kno? It’s a diff type of humor when it comes to cartoons but nonetheless it’s still not that bad. I like the daughter with the glasses & beanie on all the time or maybe just glassed I’m not sure but she’s funny af on there. This movie looks hella lit 🔥 tho, can’t wait to watch it my friend real talk 💯💯💯

This film had to be shot around 2021 because Cameron Crovetti who plays the younger version of Boy was shooting Amazon Prime's The Boys series and now he is all grown-up. The fact that Andrew Koji aka Ah Sahm is an ally to The Boy with the Raid Actor Yayan Ruhian as The Boy's trainer I am already sold by this movie.

I remember in 2022 he appeared in the film The Gray Man playing the younger version to Ryan Gosling's character where his father portrayed by Shea Whigam abused him as a child. The movie came around July 2022.
