You can tell Angela's dad really wanted Shawn to be his son-in-law. Not now but down the road when it was time. Sadly, that didn't happen. Even in GMW when Angela said her dad died, she did say he really liked Shawn a lot.
1:52 "You said you liked me, how much do you like me now?" Aw. This poor guy. I was probably just as depressed as Shawn when I saw this episode. And I'm not even lying when I say when Shawn let go of her hand and bit his lip to keep from crying and then hung his head, closed his eyes, and whispered "Goodbye Angela...", a single tear fell from my eye. Its truly so sad. I am so attached to this character lol sounds odd but I relate to Shawn so much. His family life, not seeing my mom for years at a time, my dad being a deadbeat and coming and going or just ignoring me, I had a best friend who was in a better postion financially and with her at home life but instead of having a boyfriend or something like Angela or Shawn leave we had just moved away from eachother but it felt like this moment. Just less intimate. Lol but after this episode I remember being so sad after that and my mom kept pointing out how untalkative I was and kept asking me if I was okay. I wasn't even going to post this because it's kinda too much information on my part. But...I just relate to him and can easily feel his emotions during these times whether I want to or not lol BMW hits home with me. One things for sure, Shawn Hunter is my favorite tv character of all time.
Disney had the control of Shawngela yet chose to make Katy marry Shawn, you can tell Angela’s dad really wanted Shawn to marry Angela. Maybe not at the time considering they were going to Europe for a year but maybe when it was time. Still mad that Angela and Shawn never got the happily ever after they wanted but at least Shawn got to be happy. In the episode of gmw when Angela reunited with Shawn they had way more chemistry than Katy and Shawn ever did, and it was supposed to be an awkward scene. My point is that you know Shawn wanted to marry Angela and Angela wanted to marry Shawn, Shame on Disney
Shawn And Angela are Peak i honestly wanted them to be together but it didn't happen and instead we got Katy and Shawn but tbh i don't hate Katy and Shawn to me there alright and Girl meets world had potential to be as good as Boy Meets World but the Network they were on is what caused the show to be child friendly but you can tell they wanted to do more Dark Senarios
Growing up watching Boy Meets World. I often still rewatch the entire series, even now in my mid/late thirties. This show had and still does have so much emotion and tackles real life issues. You just don't get shows like this anymore.
I think this was a big mistake there was no reason to put the back together to destroy them later. They could have still had this ending without them being in a relationship. And basically leave the fans on a clip note. Knowing that he was not going to bring them back together and so wishy washy crap that he explained later.
I wish for Shawn have good time be with his his father Angela want telling true to Shawn she wants good time be with her father Angela feel so every sorry for Shawn he didn't good time be with his father because he dead that why Angela feel so every sorry for for him
