Sometimes dudes who like dudes date girls, it's not unheard of. Or maybe it was a mutual break up. I've stayed friends with some of my exes. But they weren't exactly my best friend. Mitch and Scott are so close, they feel and act like brothers. So if something happens, then they have a large chance of messing that relationship up. It wouldn't be the same because they'll no longe see each other as brothers, they'll remember the feelings they had when dating.

From what I've heard, it sounds like Kirstie dated both of them at some point but they weren't very serious or long-lasting relationships.
