It's been 25 years since I've towed a trailer boat into STANAGE BAY. My brother Pete and I were lucky enough to be invited up by my good mate Aaron for a boys' week. What an awesome, remote and untouched location! Crabbing, fishing and exploring remote Islands are the highlights of this Queensland treasure!

Mate, bought from our Agnes Foodstore. Best butcher and steaks 🍖🥩you can get! Their meat is next level! Took the left overs for lunch raps, bloody awesome! 💥👌

I had an fg knot slip on fluro. So now i get some 120 grit sandpaper and just rough the leader where the weave goes. Never slipped since. Great video. Keep em coming..

Yelow belly 3 inch cork float with brown sand frog super glued to hook app 600 mm below and bob float, like slap slap slap on the water. Works every time. Again late arvy early am.😊 true shit.

That good fishing out of Stanage had my 30ft cat down there a few years back wont tow in any more we launch at St Lawance now and then take the trailer around

The philosphy of the bigger the bait the bigger the fish stands true . At least thats what the 20 kg red in my thumbnail said when i pulled him out of 80 meters ...You see when chasing big reds what ya do is ......

We do mate! Had them on my last rig as well for 8 years. Great thing but they have now gone out of business. You may be lucky enough to snag a set somewhere. I bought a spare set for that reason. I spoke with the owner he said there was not enough repeat business in Australia hence closing the doors. As he said, the product was too good of a bearing solution.

@@OBM1770 That would explain it, I spent 20 years up North WA catching them. I have recently discovered Stanage and have camped at the creek a few times just past the ramp.Now in Bundy.

@@OBM1770 Mozzies ,yes bad , sandflies were ok. I was on the sandy area in a large mozzie dome so it is not too bad. The road has improved since the upgrade last year before then it was pretty bad.
