On their senior day, the Lakers took on St. Paul's for the number one seed heading into the playoffs. Despite the bittersweet emotions felt by all the seniors, the team came out on top with a 18-12 victory and the number one seed for the postseason. The following week, the Lakers took on the Eagles from McDonogh in the MIAA semifinals. Faceoff specialist, Hunter Moreland, dominated at the X to give the Lakers a 16-10 victory.
