Rene is way too nice. The guy made a website about him and attacked him twice on stage. Wow. And he is friendly to him.

One of the best documentaries ever!!!! Hope Steven runs for political office. He has my vote and his unity politics is the pulse of the nation. And Rene... WOW!!!! Powerhouse. Completely in sync with the reality of our problems and he rocks!

Enjoyed the interview and the doc. I was at Texas Boys State the year the doc was shot. The movie does a good job showing the mindset of those that put effort into the experience and went far. There were those that put zero effort in, and still those that started out trying, but were never voted for and were stuck watching others' speeches for the remainder of the week. This left most of the students uninvolved and uninterested, not learning a thing about politics, and I feel the documentary does not give the full picture of what Boys State is. I went in taking it seriously, as did many others, but this approach backfired for many, as some candidates and voters who treated it as a joke got what they wanted.

Having watched the Documentary I felt disillusioned by the politics of Ben Feinstein needing to win at all costs while losing his soul in the process. Felt like we were watching an early Roger Stone. Or Lee Atwater in the making. To win, Ben skillfully realized his pathway to win was to demagogue strength and make it repulsive to majority of Boy State voters. Had Ben chosen a different path, his candidate still might have won, but what he lost much more significant. Attending were potential leaders and influencers in 1000 young men who could have been inspired by STeven Garza’s views on Background checks. Just think what if. Ben allowed the elevation of Steven’s Platform. Ben’s journey appears to have caught up with Rene and Steven. Sounds like Ben and Rene share respect that age and distance brings. Ben will face more uncomfortable feedback. And my hope is that he can see himself in a new light. ANyway. Great Interview, All three. Rene, Ben and Steven look like men now with bright futures. From the interviews their appears to be a self reflective moment such that Rene and Ben can show respect for each other. Ste

00:05:40 ff I think a boys state/ girl state model WITHOUT CORPORATE MONEY or any constituent Donations. The 1 % ers wealth tax should be used to fund every candidate an equal amount of funding. That should be a flat rate of funding. Each media outlet has to give equal time for each candidate.

Feinstein makes Richard III look like an amateur.

This is a great interview to a great documentary. However something I wished in this documentary was more of a perspective of Eddy, they gave the man like 2 minutes of his insight of politics. Much respect to Ben though, man is a political genius, and was very happy for the Federalist win in the end. However I have great respect to both Rene and Steven, good people with ideas I don't necessarily agree with. But it's good that they're open-minded to people on the other side.

What does Rene means? the President that is working against your community how and what way is the president working against your community?
