I want to talk about something a little deeper if you will. If you grew up in the 90s, these songs set a tone for how you approached your romantic relationships. The lyrics of these kinds of songs let you set a standard for yourself. The 90s were when guys used to have to beg to talk to you (Can We Talk, Tevin Campbell) and when ladies would talk about their dudes as if they were angels (Angel of Mine, Monica). Thus and such, we as adults now may be a little heavy handed with our romantic ideals, but at least we had STANDARDS. What the hell is the standard now? Do people know this actually existed at one point? Makes me sad for these young ones.

Boys to Men has been one of the best R&B groups, that I've come across in a long time. They are from my generation. I miss music like this, like somebody said, Where has all the good music gone? I don't knock the new school, when it comes to music, because I love all kinds of music, but I just have a nostalgic taste for the old-school, sometimes, because I'm older now. But it's all-good!
