You got it all wrong. The crowd were being respectful, they knew not to make too much noise when Boyz II Men sing or else we wouldn't be able to hear such greatness.
Exactly. There is such a thing as listening intently, which is what you do when someone is giving you a great vocal full of melodies and complexities that you don't want to miss.
Shawn ATE. Nate too. Everyone knows Wanya has a beautiful, powerful, soulful voice but Nate and Shawn also have equally amazing voices! Shawn's voice is angelic, and Nate is so versatile. ❤❤❤
These boys could SANG. PERIOD. The live sounds better than the original! Amazing. They don’t make singers or groups like this anymore. Sooo glad I grew up in the 90s ❤️☺️
I love this song to death, it's something about Boyz II Men that touches your heart. I was obsessed with these guys in the 90's. I hate that the current state of music has all but pushed them out the limelight. However, their music is timeless and they are truly legends today.
@@MrFredericF, Shawn was awesome. I think people think Wanya led everything. Shawn's voice is incredible and overall (not from Sondra J), I don't think he's received the recognition he deserves because Wanya was seen as the "lead".
Those who have grown up around music/sang in a choir/group know that a bass singer is SO important!!! Without that bass, the whole group/choir is flat.
I never realized that Shawn and Nate were the main leads on this song. I assumed it was more Wanya. Nice surprise. This takes me back to my college years.
These guys took this song to a completely new level during this performance and Shawn voice resonates very well on this track (not to say it doesn't resonates well on others ) Although Wanya had the power vocals, Shawn was one to not sleep on. He and Wanya had different vocal styles but they were dead even to me when it came their deliverance, Both of these guys had complete control over their voices. Boyz II Men is totally legendary and iconic beyond words.
Even though Wanya did much of the "heavy lifting", I personally thought Shawn's vocals were just as good, sometimes even better, as is evident in this video
Just listened to Water Runs Dry and Bended Knee, and going back to this one, you can see the difference and how much their voices matured and how much more control they learned between each album. Especially Nate and Shawn. They went from having great voices to being vocal beasts! Wayne honed those riffs to damn near perfection too! Just hate Michael didn't stay with the group.
1:31, 1:32 Did Shawn sing ; Ohhh Miiicheal...Miiiiiicheaaal?? Lol. I just melt at Shawn's voice. mmm 😍😚❤ Love B2M, Simply Classic and the best R&B Boy Band of all time 👌
True but not true. That would make one sweet day not as good also. I love Mariah Careys voice but absolutely hate her. She's a stuck up gold digging rort ass slut who needs a smack in the teeth asap and that's facts baby
I4NI Sounds gold digging? She wrote a majority of all of her albums. She has talent! Bruh stop hatin on someone you don’t even know lmao give Ms. Carey all her flowers. She’s earned them!
LaShonda N Yes Silk is such an underrated and underappreciated group. Little G and John used to go back and forth. I was just a kid at 6 and it was my joint and I rocked with them all throughout my life.
TIL that "And only then" was the lyric. And I agree, Nate hit that beautiful, mournful high note. This song just hits all the emotions for me. This performance is perfect. The harmony, their solos, the band.
These MEN are ALL true singers! There isn't a 'spotlight' on one person, it's a REAL group! Truly hope they work things out and let us hear & see ALL 4 OF THEM (in reference to this particular song/live) 🎶🎵🎶🎵2023
All of these talented men had actual ( Live singing voices) no dubbed sound's or pre-recorded sing overs just straight raw get on stage and let it be known. 2020!!!!
Are you serious? He's the leader and the one who put the group together... So you do you know he leads Uhhhh Ahhhh, I'll Make Love To You, 50 Candles, End of the Road, Motownphilly and Lonely Heart just to name a few.
