Because any units loyal to them were either on the war front, destroyed in the war, or engaged in fighting the reds... Units DID get to Ekaterineburg... but too late...

Then the jewish population was of course angry and hoped for a political turnaround. Many of the poorer Jews saw hope for innovation in socialism, which, was mainly not led by Jews. But even in the Soviet Union there was some anti-Semitism and after the revolution many of the Jewish bourgeoisie had to flee from persecution by the Bolsheviki.
It is said that one of the communist guards responsible for the watch of the czar changed his thoughts about the Romanov, he started to have the impression that the czar was a simple and good man, even wishing for their escape. Probably this guard regretted being part of the revolution.

Its tough watching this .Makes me want to cry. I was there in Petersburg and saw their mausoleum but strangely it did not impact me the way it does listening to the anthem and see all of them. It needs their pictures and something more so it sinks in to those who view it. Please do this. They deserve it.

I never said God Save The Tsar is in the prelude. However, if you listen to the final crescendo, you can hear the baselines of it. Nor did I ever say Tchaikovskii wrote the anthem or the prelude. The first song here is the hymn Save O Lord, Thy People.

@Ken Brownsher You need to read the scriptures more, all are called unto holiness and the saints are those who have achieved it. That includes the Holy Tsar-Martyr, St. Nicholas, who has been perfected in his faith and will be counted great amongst the Kingdom of Heaven.
