When myself, Jake, and Eli began discussing what tunes we wanted to start playing in this group, I knew we had to give this one from the Oz Noy catalog a shot. Oz himself has said that it is one of his favorite tunes that he's written. The melody is elegant, but the way it is phrased over top of the relaxed but driving shuffle feels so wrong but right at the same time. We took some liberties with the solo section and the C section after the bridge before the head out, slightly differing it from Oz's original version. Hoping to do more of Oz's music with this group in the future. Enjoy!
