Thank you for taking the time to check out my RU-vid channel, centered around my career as a recording and performing musician. I am a freelance drummer and teacher in and around Philadelphia, PA, currently performing and recording with multiple artists and bands. Through this channel, I attempt to document my playing and progress as a musician as best as I can while paying homage the artists who have inspired me.
Tate you have great swing, feel, done with precision and you make it look easy, which is is not. Well done. Do you use a website for original band music stems minus drums?
Chicago is known for their horn section, their bass player Peter Cetera, keyboardist Robert Lamm, guitarist Terry Kath who are great musicians in their own right but that drummer Danny Serephine put it all together. Old Chicago was best for me with this line up. When I was on high school back in the 70’s I was studying a trade but across the street was a school call “High School for the Performing and Visual Arts” or as everyone knew as HSPVA. Their band was playing Chicago’s music and I remember jammin out to these songs.
@@tate_berkey it’s a hard song to master. Lots of little things garibaldi did that make it such a cool drum track. Would love to hear you do some old journey with aynsley Dunbar before Steve Perry
Jim! You will see Gabe at that show, but you will not be seeing me. Those dates later in August are just Gabe playing with John Nemeth and his band. I am however on the Prarie du Sac gig next week on Wednesday the 7th! Sorry for the confusion.
