BRITISH RAILWAYS IN THE 1990's
Wandsworth Road Station (South London) on 19th September 1995
Continuing with my archive of video recording between the years of 1986 to 2001 this clip is of an old favourite of mine near to Clapham Junction, Wandsworth Road Station (South London) on 19th September 1995. I have made this video in 2 parts. On this visit covering both parts, Eurostars are a plenty and freight is seen being hauled by Class 33s (Still) 47s, 37s, 59, and a class 58. The Victoria and Kent lines are EMUs of 1963 stock and the electric version of the class 165, the 465. A very intense service on this longer visit on a beautiful late summer's day. I hope the video takes you back to this period with fond memories. Feel free to comment, good or bad, all comments are read and greatly appreciated, but it is not always possible to answer each individually. Sit back and enjoy this latest production remembering all those now long gone Locomotive classes and other types of traction. Many thanks for all subscriptions and all of those viewers who have kindly shown an interest in my material.
