Brackenridge Park San Antonio 

I am so happy to call San Antonio my home!

I love this park. My parents took me here as a little baby, and I grew up going there in field trips and family gatherings.

I grew up in Mancke Park, less than a mile from Brackenridge Park. We use to hear the lions at the S.A. Zoo roar at night. Walked to the museum a lot. I remember the Mc Garland diamond exhibit there and the year it got stolen from the museum.

Awesome.

My interest in Brackenridge Park can be summed up in four words: Brackenridge Park Miniature Railroad. The Zoo may run it now, but it's a great way to see the park. Stay safe and healthy.

This park will stay. A public place. Not commercial

Can one have a picnic on the grass here? Or do you have to use the picnic tables? :))

Trees are sacred and historical not to be chopped down for a parking lot nor commercialized.

May we keep it for the public. As the Brackenridge history SAYS. IT IS FOR THE PUBLIC. NO ONE WILL CUT DOWN THE HISTORIC TREES. NOR WOULD THEY COMMERCIALIZE IT. NO!
