Brad Domke - Tow-in Skimboarding? Finless Surfing? - Exile Skimboards 

Negative comments always crack me up. (The sarcastic ones I get) So, he's getting towed in, How the hell else do you catch waves like that on a skimboard. Thank goodness for people willing to try new stuff. I remember when most hated snowboards and laughed at people on them. How'd that work out? Great stuff Brad. Looked real fun.

Wow! As an old guy I am going back to the roots of my surfing. Sore back has lead to a rerun of knee boarding, handplaning and now an Aussie surf mat.. but this kid is incredible. All i've ever seen people do on skim boards is them breaking their wrists and ankles slapping themselves down on the sand. Maybe its not what you ride thats important, but the fact that you ride something and you're NOT on the couch..

I've been surfing for decades. Started on a 9'6' Hansen and went as small as a 5'6" Fish. Mr. Domke has pushed it to the limit? The next step is surfing using only bare feet? Loved the video and I'm also wondering what the music is.

totally agree braddomke is the biggest blast of natural surf feel that I have ever seen. the other buzz is when you actually ever considered oneself proficient on a skimboard, the limits are so much bigger than previously conceived and so goes the evolution.

Is it true that you HAVE to Sandpaper your deck before you put a traction pad on that area? like my carbon fiber Slotstik has a clear gloss finish and is not textured at all so i'm under the impression that ill have to sand it before, but my buddy says otherwise so i gotta make sure..
