It is called a typo. Geez. People these days. You just want to appreciate someone or soemthi g by trying to spread positivity....and then BAMMMM out of nowhere...always finding soemthing to pick at.
Brad is just the perfect person for this series. He's a good listener and he is also very enthusiastic so youll be sure you get a good view on the subject of the video. Also he can bond with almost anyone
Brad: Get's Bon Appétit to pay for a lovely Hawaiian holiday where he gets to eat loads of lovely food and try cool activities. Claire: Dies of exhaustion in the test kitchen trying to recreate gourmet M&M's
Born and raised from the island of Oahu, I like this Brad. Folks like him should come visit more often. ❤ The locals appreciate people who have respect for the Hawaiian island's.
I highly doubt he followed him the whole way like that. He most likely had it in a case in a backpack and took it out occasionally to get shots and clips.
I'm gonna miss this series 😭 Hawaii and it's people have such a beautiful culture, I'm glad It's Alive showcased it so well. Now, time for *It's Dead! With Gabby*
showed the culture that’s left. they don’t show all the native people that were kicked out to the streets because mainlanders forced them out to turn there land to buildings.
The smiles in the people when Brad is praising the food are amazing, I love this and he’s so pure getting all happy and excited. I want another one but here in México.
Yeah! I was impressed in another video about coffe, there was this expert talking with Brad, and he was so genuinely interested in what he had to say, that the guy was so surprised about his curiosity that he went from giving serious facts to given his facts excitingly. He was so amazed that he was so interested.
I absolutely loved this season of It’s Alive. Before this season I was completely oblivious to the culture in Hawaii, but now I have this sense of joy knowing that family and the preservation of culture is still relevant in many places. This series absolutely warmed my heart and I am excited to learn more! Thank you BA, for advocating traveling and the understanding of other cultures.
Been watching the Hawaii series and I’m pleasantly surprized at Brad’s level of respect and sensitivity of Hawaii and Hawaiian culture. Many mahalos for sharing Big Island Aloha 💙🤙🏽
Next time they do making perfect and it's a sandwich I hope they send Claire around the world to see what would be the best type of bread to use for a sandwich
@@bridgettedupree3745 sad thing they were there like a day or 2 just for the pie contest which they lost and left right after lol... so vacation not really lol
As a Hawai'i native, I really appreciate the It's Alive Hawai'i episodes. You captured the locals food lifestyle in the least tackiest way and Brad was absolutely the perfect person to be interviewing the people here. He listens, he goes in with a non-biased perspective and he's willing to learn about the culture that's usually forgotten or not even thought about because Hawai'i is physically disassociated from the mainland. Thanks for sharing the wonderful side of the islands and I hope you'll visit us again soon!
Awww it’s the last of the Hawai’i series. I’ve loved every episode. Couldn’t be happier. *Couldn’t be happier.* Couldn’t be more stoked. *Super stoked.* Couldn’t be more excited. *Super excited.*
Appreciate the love sent to Tamura’s! Lotta days spent in college on the beaches of West Side wit a bowl of Tamura’s Market Poke in one hand and a Heineken in the other. Saw you left the unagi sauce off, but I’ll let it slide! Good times are always found on the islands of Hawai’i.
@Rye Daza Well it's fermented, so Brad should be making some soon. I wonder where you can source krill in NY? What am I saying, you can source *anything* in NY!
I think one of the many reasons I love Brad is that he genuinely wants to get to know the people that he meets and he can be a big bumbling golden retriever puppy sometimes but he is always extremely respectful of the people he is around and I love that energy about him. So glad you could show us the beautiful island of Hawaii through your eyes and help us understand their amazing culture and food!
Brad is always so respectful and its wonderful, especially after the Poke controversy where poke was almost trademarked by people who aren't even hawaiian so they can make money off it, he still goes to try the traditional local spots and smaller businesses. He really gives the spotlight to these amazing communities he visits.
Growing up in Kona one of the things I looked forward to when going to Kahaluʻu was the rainbow shave ice from Lorraine’s Snackmobile. Or as everybody called her, "Da shave ice lady".
@@TheSunstoneSlayer 😂😂 Dang it! I only live next to a temple of TWO minor Greek Gods. That's just my luck! Well, there goes my chances at culinary enlightenment. 🤦♂️
The taro leaf sauce in that dish at the end is a big thing in Trinidad. We call it callaloo. Stripped and stewed taro leaves in basically a stock, served as a soup or reduced to a sauce. It's amazing with crab!
The sun is really strong in Hawaii though. Unless you're constantly re-applying it you tend to get at least a little sun-burnt if you have a fair complexion.
watching brads ....intense self slowly mellow out throughout the video is awesome. just his cadence is a huge change if you listen to the intro and then his outro.
of all the videos and shows that go on food tours of cities, states, countries... this is the first comprehensive and culturally aware one i've seen about hawaii. thank youuuuu
I love this series... so full of wholesome, humble people doing what they love and respecting the earth and life they interact with daily, and with Brad being so friendly and respectful ♥️ Amazing job, BA! Thank you for showing us another part of a beautiful world! Edit: A solid thank you to the camera crew and editors too... great job!
my absolute favourite part of each going places episode like beside learning about the people and different cultures, is how polite and sincere and excited Brad is!!!!
There is no one else on the internet that puts an instant smile on my face than Mr. Brad Leone. Love It's Alive! and Brad. You gotta come to the rez and we'll show you how to butcher and make mutton.
