I remember always being a Mopar (Dodge) fan and Brad Keselowski became my favorite driver not only because he drove a Dodge but he was a cerebral driver. When Dodge no longer raced in NASCAR Cup, Brad still drove for Penske in a Ford and I stayed with him. I will continue my loyalty to Brad knowing that his new team (Roush- Fenway-Keselowski) has not had the luck and performance up to his high standard. That will change for the better, no doubt. Hopefully Brad will receive the support to elevate RFK Racing and soon compete once again with the elite in NASCAR. If anyone can do it, Brad can.
brad has really matured over the years.i slowly became a fan.i would love to see him bring rousch back to the winners circle regularly, like in their glory days.thank you brad, we will be cheering for you.
His father was a great man and the last to fly the Chrysler flag before they finally left for good in the late 70's. Always humble, grateful, pleasant and consistent to be around. Kid is exactly the same.
These are the types of moments that can change your opinion of someone. Never been a big Brad K fan, but he seems to grown a lot and is becoming someone I hope is around the sport for many years to come. Congrats on a great run in the #2.
@@Darth0308 Eh, I listened to people like you say the same for years about Kurt Busch and he has become one of my favorites over the years. People can change. Brad and Joey for that matter have never been my favorites, but they still have time to grow. I am old enough to remember when everyone booed Dale Sr in the early 90’s. By the end of the decade he was the fan’s darling that everyone loved. Things change and so do people.
@@Darth0308 He pours his heart and soul into competing at the highest level. Have you ever competed for anything a day in your life? Has someone ever messed you up and made you lose or you made a critical error yourself which made you lose? If yes, were you all chipper, like you gon knee slap and be like gawly G I'll get em next time hee heee. Or you gonna be pissed off? Bet it's the ladder the only thing different is you're not getting interviewed 5 mins after losing while you're fuming about your performance or getting screwed.
@@Dying4pie2180 yeah I totally get his anger, it's his poor decisions on the track and how much he cries about it I dislike. I've been around many toxic people and I havnt the patience for it. I don't know how his team stands it. Everyone will have a flare in temper sure, but the dude is an idiot on the track, not all the time but he has few in betweens. He's either flipping out like a child or cussing out his team or putting targets on other drivers.
Been a fan of Brad for this long, seems so crazy to me. I liked him for who he was, not what he drove. It was destiny for him to kick butt in those Dodges, as MOPAR is such a big thing in my family. I'll always support Brad K and will forever be the biggest fan.
What a marvelous testimonial and thank you to "The Captain" and the Penske organization. All the best Brad moving forward. And as a fellow Detroiter, thank you Mr. Penske for all you do for our community.
This is what a real racer is. All these cry babies need to listen up and learn. Thank you Brad for being loyal to your team and staying out of the BS over the years. Best of luck.
As a Roush fan and i support to them since the beggining....i hope Brad can improve the Team and bring back the good ol days for us all....Roush fans. Brad.....Doug Yates and and Sir. Jack Roush. Lets go guys.
I've been a Brad Keselowski fan since 2009 and it saddens my heart he won't be with Penske anymore. But I'm glad to see him still race and turn Rush around. I see a bright future for that organization like they had in the days of Kennseth, Martin, Biffle, Edwards. Its gonna be a special time for sure
Good luck with your new pursuits Brad. You carried the torch after Rusty that maybe no one could have done as well. Gonna miss you behind the wheel. Hope you can help bring the Rousch camp back into the fold.
I hate to see this chapter end. Brad, I always thought that the number 2 was forever going to be looked at like Dale Earnhardt and number 3. This is such a sad time for me to see you and Roger and the Penske team parting ways. I wish you all the best in your new journey and hope you can help bring Rousch back to the winning column. Thank you for giving the number 2 one hell of a ride since Rusty. It's time now to put another legend in the books. Good luck.
Never been much of a fan but there is no questioning his driving ability. To a lot of people he is a guy you love to hate. Still hes a very good wheelman and i hope he gets into a good ride next season.
It's crazy how when a driver leaves a team where he has been for years and when they leave you really start to see everything they did and just what they mean to the team, sponsors and owner good luck Brad keselowski on your next journey
It's amazing how far Brad has come over the years. I must admit I wasn't his biggest fan but watching how he has matured and this touching send off to another chapter in his life....give em hell Mr Keselowski! Give Roush the much needed boost to become competitive once again!! 👍👍👍
Not big in racing, just wasn't on when I was a kid. A few years back I saw a cool edit on Brad and his dad. Look of pride on his dads face was so cool. I found some small success in my own lane. I was a dumb kid and when I finally got myself right and found passion there was a day my dad was hanging out with my wife and our kids and I noticed him just kinda watching me a smiling, with this kinda prideful he did it look. Didn't say a word but I never forgot that feeling.
I hate to see Brad leave Penske but I'm excited to see what he can do with Roush and maybe be able to bring that 6 car back to the same glory that he brought back to the 2 car in his years with them!
I'm freakin proud of Braddy K! He's one of the only few good classy people in the sport nowadays. Glad he is about to step up for the next season as a team owner-driver!
I’ve always thought he was a class act and this really proof of that. Just read the comments I can think of a handful of drivers who should learn from the way this man carries himself.
Iv been a Brad K fan 4 ten years and he reminds me of the old time driver's Glad to see him to keep racing after watching him on the track all these years make,s me feel like a friend
Always been a fan Of Brad K. When he Drove for Dale Jr even after he Went to classy Penske Racing Just Glad this isnt Retirement just a Seat Change Good luck this Coming yeah Brad GOD BLESS 💪🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I like Brad wish him well going forward, He has his work cut out for him rebuilding a once very great team its not going to be easy but i think Brad can do it.
This goodbye is hands down the classiest thing Brad has done in his career. All I remember him for is whining every time someone bumped him. Penske does command respect, but hopefully Brad finally drags Roush Fenway kicking and screaming into its inevitable grave
Class act Brad ….Congratulations on a successful venture with team Penske and just as successful one with Roush Fenway….may you put the Mustang in victory lane !!!!
I was a Mark Martin fan as a kid and that fandom spread all over Roush Racing. It's disheartening to know where they are now so I hope Brad can help turn that organization around.
Right there with you, I was a Bill Elliott fan in the 80’s then Mark came along and the class and dignity he raced with won me over. When he left, it was the beginning of the end, especially when Matt left. Get em Brad
As I sit here with my FORD T-shirt on I was so happy when Brad took over the #2 car and helped me to kudos my Chevy friends, Jack will surely be happy with the results for the #6 car. I own Mark Martin's last firesuit and drivers' doorskin, along with the last doorskin of the favorite driver of the past Harry Gant's last door skin. If anyone knows where Brad's firesuit or last doorskin I'd pay top dollar for either one. I'm a super fan of Nascar and haven't missed a race in 30 yrs. My garage walls are completely plastered with Nascar memorabilia but I'd find a place for Brad's last race with both Brad and Roger top players of Nascar. I'm so glad Roger picked Austin Cindric for the #2 car that has shown the best of sportmanship in the last races of the Xfintiy series. Nascar isn't dying as some people say, the young drivers are as talented as Rusty, Dale, Jeff and DW ever was and I'm enjoying the new stock master my favorite sport. Go Get'um Boys.
Brad, even though there were times where I got very unhappy with your aggressiveness. I have to admit you're an old school NASCAR driver. Broke from the mold of driving illegal booze through the back Hills. I'm sorry to admit that yes, I'm one of those that watch Nascar for the excitement and the wrecks but, I've only driven an automobile over 100 mph a couple times in my life. And that's scary s*** right there, I can't fathom going 200 mph or more. My hat's off to you, what you brought to the sport and teaching young drivers, trade'n paint ain't all that bad. It makes you a man!
Thx Roger to Trust Brad all this years watch win a indy Darlington talladega most in active driver win thé coca cola 600 what a good épisode in you carrer Brad a good champion
Everyday the class and high standards of Nascar are an example for ALL sports . In our world WOKE means the alarm just rang and it's time to brew some coffee.
A true class act... I hope to see the drivers with class such as Brad, Chase and our current champion Kyle Larson among others rise to the top of this sport. Now Let's Go 6!!!
Scott, can't argue with that. That's just not an opinion, but that's as close to fact as you're going to get. RFK Racing - stronger; Brad Nation - larger; #6- faster; Daytona 500 - 'It's Time', 'Let's Go Racin'!
@@VladimirBlarp I thought he was in a long term contract with Ford and why his relationship is currently so strained? Ford refused to let Kyle Larson into their cars.
I agree but i dont see that happening. ROUSH is a FORD guy and i dont see him changing and since he still owns probably more than 50% OF the team i dont see it changing, But it will be good seeing Dodge back in the sport. I dont see any of the major teams switching to Dodge but some of the underfunded teams might if they can get the support from Chrysler that they need. It would be nice to see some of the back runners suddenly running upfront the sport at present is pretty much dominated by about three teams and team owners would like to see more teams with an actual chance of winning, it does happen once in a great while that an underfunded team wins but not often enough.
@@sjsharksfan8573 Smoke wanted Larson, badly. And it was Ford that said no. Tony also just announced his new NHRA team and when asked what his manufacturer would be he declined comment and said it would be announced at a later date. Roush isn't switching, that part is certain. Roush/Yates is the top engine builder and supplier for the Ford Teams in NASCAR and he is heavily involved in Ford Racing with his Roush Mustangs and F150's. Jack isn't changing brands.
I am a Chevy man myself, But i remember when ROUSH RACING was dominant in the sport, The sport at present is being dominated by three to four teams i hope Brad can get ROUSH RACING turned around and competitive again. I believe the sport is better when more organizations have a shot at winning.
Some of the finest moments in the past 20 years of NASCAR have involved my beloved Chrysler Corporation. Their formal announcement to return...sweeping the front row of the 2001 Daytona 500 in first race back...Sterling's revival...Jimmy Spencer winning...sweeping 9 of the first 12 spots at the 2008 Daytona 500 and the incredible finish to that race....Penske switching from those God-awful Fords to Chrysler....the list is long.
