John Fogerty, is my favorite artist. He has made many anti-war songs throughout his long music career. Songs like "Fortunate Son" (with Creedence Clearwater Revival), " Run Through The Jungle" (with CCR), "Deja Vu". It's great to her him make another song this time about the Veteran's.
this song tells the truth about war and how our men and women get shipped out and die by either bullets or in personality and come back broken people i would love to see a change and have peace but i dont think that will happen anytime soon this is a great song good on the both of them and i have only just heard of brad but i knew about john fogerty for a long time
I love this song because it reminds me of my grandpa who fought in the World War 1 and the World War 2. And it also reminds me of him. And now he died. Because he was fighting in the war. And now this song means like a lot to me. I really love Brad Paisley. And all of his songs, videos, and his sense of humor.
I’ve always been a fan of both John Fogerty and Brad Paisley. This song is just great. How this wasn’t up for song of the year is beyond me. God Bless our service men and women who sacrifice their bodies and minds for our country. This song is true to them. It tells a story I’ve witnessed time and time again about a soldiers struggles after they come back “home”.
Both Brad and John are as great as they ever were. Two excellent singers, song writers, and guitarists. Hard to believe John still sounds as good as he does (voice and guitar) in his 70s. This also has to be one of Brad's best albums and that is saying a lot as he has had some great ones in the past.
Brad... thank you.. something we fight for daily and try to bring to light, you have helped us all. As a veteran I thank you for helping bring to light the issues we deal with.
I love this song. Because it reminds me of my grandfather. Who served in World War 1 & World War 2. And it want this song to remember those who served in the Air Forces, Wars, Army, etc. I love this song with so much of my heart.
I love this song brad always has amazing songs. Its wrong how they are forgotten after sacrificing a wide range of opportunities and unretrievable time to defend our nation for them to end up with nothing in the end there should be a change !

I'm an Army veteran who is now paying a heavy price for sacrificing everything for this country. As a patient of my local VA I have not gotten the care I need so desperately. They always have an excuse on why they can't cure you. I'm not the only veteran who has the same experiences , it's very common. When I signed up at 18 my mother begged me not to do it. Now I understand that it was giving up your entire life because we are just dying off slowly or you get to the point that death early is better than suffering every day knowing there is no lite at the end of the tunnel. I want to thank Brad and John personally for the thought and care for writing this song. I hope President Trump will clean up the VA system but he has a lot on his plate with this VA crisis. Please President Trump I voted for you because I really do think you care about us. Please help us and you have my full support. I so much appreciate all three of you for caring. Thank you so much! It's I really bad feeling when you feel forgotten about.

Lyrics:👍 He was nineteen When he landed at Bagram Scared and all alone He lost a leg and a girlfriend Before he got home And they say all is fair in Love and War But that ain't true, it's wrong They ship you out to die for us Forget about you when you don't He was nineteen in '68 After all this time That broken boy is now a broken man Waitin' in a VA line They say all is fair in Love and War But that ain't true, it's wrong They ship you out to die for us Forget about you when you don't And the nightmares And he's running scared Far from home And he wakes up From a nightmare He's in another one He's still not home They call 'em decorated heroes And pin some medals on their chest Give 'em a tiny little pension Could we do much less They say all is fair in Love and War But that ain't true, it's wrong They ship you out to die for us Forget about you when you don't They say all is fair in Love and War But that ain't true, it's wrong They ship you out to die for us Forget about you when you don't They say all is fair in Love and War But that ain't true, it's wrong They ship you out to die for us But forget about you when you don't
BRAD PAISLEY ft. JOHN FOGERTY (2017) - LOVE AND WAR (Traducción) [Brad Paisley:] He was nineteen Él tenía diecinueve When he landed at Bagram Cuando aterrizó en Bagram (Afganistán) Scared and all alone Asustado y completamente solo He lost a leg and a girlfriend Perdió una pierna y una novia Before he got home Antes de llegar a casa And they say all is fair in Love and War Y dicen que todo vale en el Amor y la Guerra But that ain't true, it's wrong Pero eso no es verdad, es un error They send you off to die for us Te envían para morir por nosotros Forget about you when you don't Olvidándose de ti cuando no (ocurre) [John Fogerty:] He was nineteen in '68 Él tenía diecinueve en el 68 After all this time Después de todo este tiempo That broken boy is now a broken man Ese chico destrozado es ahora un hombre destrozado Waitin' in a VA line Esperando en una cola de veteranos They say all is fair in Love and War Dicen que todo vale en el Amor y la Guerra But that ain't true, it's wrong Pero eso no es verdad, es un error They ship you out to die for us Te envían a morir por nosotros Forget about you when you don't Olvidándose de ti cuando no (ocurre) [Brad Paisley & John Fogerty:] And the nightmares Y las pesadillas And he's running scared Y él está corriendo asustado Far from home Lejos de casa And he wakes up Y se despierta From a nightmare De una pesadilla He's in another one Está en otra He's still not home Aún no está en casa They call 'em decorated heroes Les llaman héroes condecorados And pin some medals on their chest Y prenden algunas medallas en sus pechos Give 'em a tiny little pension Les dan una minúscula pensión Could we do much less ¿Podríamos hacer menos? [Brad Paisley:] They say all is fair in Love and War Dicen que todo vale en el Amor y en la Guerra But that ain't true, it's wrong Pero eso no es verdad, es un error [John Fogerty:] They ship you out to die for us Te envían para morir por nosotros Forget about you when you don't Olvidándose de ti cuando no (ocurre) [Brad Paisley:] They say all is fair in Love and War Dicen que todo vale en el Amor y la Guerra But that ain't true, it's wrong Pero eso no es verdad, es un error [John Fogerty:] They ship you out to die for us Te envían para morir por nosotros [Brad Paisley:] Forget about you when you don't Olvidándose de ti cuando no (ocurre) [John Fogerty:] They say all is fair in Love and War Dicen que todo vale en el Amor y la Guerra But that ain't true, it's wrong Pero eso no es verdad, es un error They ship you out to die for us Te envían para morir por nosotros But forget about you when you don't Pero olvidándose de ti cuando no (ocurre)

Great music they wrote and played together. John has always been my hero since 1969. But history shows...."they" are doing the same shit all over again and again :-(
