It took almost losing our marriage to remind us what was the most important. 2024 we'll be celebrating 24 years married and 26 years together. We raised 5 children and have 5 grandbabies. I love this song because it was our song. My hubby passed away 2yrs 5months ago. This song not only reminds me of when we were just starting out but we just never stopped. I’ve seen Brad at blossom and when he sings this I always burst into tears. To have loved someone so much and always reminding each other of that love was the greatest love I’ve ever had. Love you and miss you babe.

Still my jam today. It'll always be. I love the video too, Carrie's legs are better than any Victoria Secret angel's ones.

Why is it that so many couples don't do this? They get caught up in life and just let this go. What will couples do when kids are grown and gone? They won't know each other anymore. Couples should make time no matter how fast pace life gets just to remind each other. Doing little things each morning like writing a little note or sending sweet messages to keep the fire lit and always have a date night at least a couple of times a month. Maybe just sitting at home watching a movie after kids go to bed, or finding that time to do something special. It's not the laundry , cleaning, or cooking those are great but It needs to be the quality time. This song reminds me of the things I need to do and he does too!

When Brad was asked about the award he said "I don't deserve any credit for this...you take Carrie out of the video and it's just some dude playing the guitar in the desert." LOL I would love to seem them do another duet...the chemistry is there. :)

There has never been a better duet done. The premise of "remind me" is so important to maintain health relationships. We get angry and forget the good things that bonded us. The simplicity of the terrain doesn't distract from the message. The vocals of these two match extremely well. Brad's powerful guitar mixed with Carrie's powerful voice is a powerful reminder.

Ok, so i think i completely understand this music video now. so the song is about a couple attempting to find what has been lost of their once beautiful romance. The reason the two are in a desert, is because a desert is associated with being lost. So, as brad and carrie approach one another, their memories become stronger and stronger, hence, the memories of a once beautiful romance. However, the two never touch, because they are lost in the desert, other wise their love is lost, they can never touch to signify that they can connect that romance once again. So in the end, all they have is memories of one another, because they will forever be in the desert.
