There are country songs I heard a year ago going through a good time trying to think if the lyrics could mean anything to me and I was like "naw never." Now a year later, when it's all collapsed, them lyrics hit me and I understand. Not that I didn't feel the lyrics before but that it wasn't about what I was going through then but I had gone through that. This song still gets me because that lyric "if I didn't love you" and "I wouldn't keep checking my phone" (for text messages) is relatable and reminds me of the good times I was going through a year ago but now It's over so I don't keep checking my phone and although you never stop loving that person I just won't relate that lyric about "if I didn't love you" to my current state but to my past state.

The CMAs and ACMs have something against Carrie. Especially the CMAs. She went 7 whole years without winning female vocalist at the CMAs and she did SO much in those years. Each year she is the true Entertainer with number one albums, number one sings, Sunday night football gigs, and so much more. All the men they give awards to just sing and that’s it. Carrie goes outside the box and represents country music in ways beyond just concerts. I think ACMs saw how pissed people were that she was snubbed at CMAs so this past year they really pulled a “tie” and gave it to her and Thomas Rhett…. Really?

I love singing this song. Anytime it comes on the radio I'll sing along then my husband will start. The next thing I know we're both holding hands, giving one another that Tim McGraw Faith Hill eye lock singing to each other. The piano at the beginning and ending are just perfect.

I took the love of my life and my sons mother for granted. After a lot of self reflection and soul searching I know that she’s my soulmate and everything I’ve ever wanted. I love her more than words can say. I hope it’s not too late and I can spend the rest of my life making her happy, and showing her how much I love her.

So did I... How did It work out for you? It's been 50 days since she kicked me out and my heart Is still as connected to her as the day we met. I've been through many heartbreaks but NONE ever of this magnitude. It feels as If I have a whole where my heart use to be. Can't eat, sleep or anything else. Problem Is I've corrected everything she didn't like and still won't give me a chance. I really miss her and my son more and more every single day. It's like everyday that passes things just get worse for me. I've prayed until I'm blue In the face for God to bring my family back. The hard part Is I have to go to her house to see my son. The place we called home and It just makes my feelings start over again. When I leave It hurts the same as the first time I had to leave.
