Bradley Museum Dedication, Carlisle Barracks 1970 

I saw him several times while stationed at Ft.Bliss. he had an house on the William Boamont Hospital compand. He attended my AIT, promotion. Also, when he passed, President Reagan, sent Air Force 1 to take his body to Washington. We were ordered to dress in our dress green, and the entire base lined the roads, where his coffin drove by. I wS proud and honored to do so. He was a great man. Many don't know he started the VA.

I grew up right by Omar Bradley Airport and attended Bradley school. I knew very little about him at the time but admire him very highly. A wonderful leader and gentleman.

i noticed bradley wears the uniform of the day. even though he's a 5 star general and in theory always on active duty does he wear the last uniform where he was actually on duty?

I saw a video of him in khakis where was wearing the CIB. WtF? Cubs were awarded to Colonels and below. BRAD WAS a MG when he 1st saw combat.
