On the day of the 125th year that we lost the great Johannes Brahms, I would like to share his Piano Trio No. 1 in B where I played with pianist Elena Baschkirova and the late cellist Boris Pergamentchikov. I learnt a great deal from the latter. This brings back many memories as I was only 22 in this video.
Brahms was a multifaceted composer, his large oeuvre of works have formed a staple part of the repertory (rightfully so!) which all musicians can be thankful for.
