I recently started studying game development, greatly inspired by Jonathan, so the commentary seems like such a brilliant idea and bonus to something I was already sold on!
Back in the xbox 360 days Braid was the game that woke me up to how good independent games could be. A more personal and intelligent experience. I dont really play games anymore but for this I'll make an exception.
I absolutely loved this game back when I was in college, did the Speedrun achievement and everything. Never felt a better sense of satisfaction from a game than when I figured out a puzzle. Maybe Portal being the only other game I really felt that from.
WOO! Looking forward to it! No Switch port is too bad; I wanted to buy a copy for my sister. Does Braid Anniversary support Steam Deck? I'm debating buying the new Steam Deck OLED, and I remember you working on making Sokoban run on Steam Deck on stream.
Update: On Twitter, Jon Blow mentioned that there will be Mac and Linux releases, but they will be delayed until after launch. Braid was also featured in Nintendo's Indie World showcase, where it was announced that Braid will also be available on Switch on launch. (Apparently Mario reached out and personally asked Jon to withhold this portion of the announcement.)
