I'm sorry but that would be a fraudulent fake tool if it is smaller. We do not support the fake tools. We are planning to come out with our own smaller tools, make sure you subscribe here and to our newsletter on the website for more information to come!

I’m so sorry but you’ve ordered from a counterfeit company!! There are numerous fraudulent Facebook “companies” selling counterfeit acrylic tools. So what you have is just a phony piece of plastic. They used photos of my hands, my table runners, my ideas--everything is stolen! I’m sincerely sorry you were taken advantage of. We’ve done everything we can think of to make Facebook remove these fraudulent ads but to no avail. I suggest you try to get your money back from your credit card company or PayPal. Some people have told me they have gotten refunds. You might think it looks genuine, but here are the big indicators to see if it is ours. Is there a copyright logo next to 2018? Is the plastic 1/8” clear acrylic with an exact 1/4” line? Was it packaged with a backer, book, and inserts? We work hard to create the best product we can but when someone steals it, there is nothing we can do to make it quite right. The tools they offer are not precise. The fact they took our tool (which is only offered in one size) and made it in 3 sizes but did not do the math involved to make them accurate, makes these tools useless. The original Braided Twist book and tool combination is the only one made by Phillips Fiber Art and only sold in a set. The book is not available to purchase alone.

You sew with right sides together. Only sew half way. Open it then again with right sides together you sew the front to the back. Hope that helps. All the raw edges are hidden and enclosed in the center seam. It's so cool! If you watch the animation video you'll see one that's reversible. The red runner? That's the back side of the black and white side. The secret to washing it is to be sure you get a good bond with the fleece.

For a placemat, you just make two endcaps, one up and one down. Sew the center seams, then twist. I am working on a placemat video....really!!
